To not show what you are not is the wisest thing to do, when you are sitting across the table to a man who can easily make out that you are simply projecting an image of yours that does not belong to you. But when you do not know the person is someone who could actually catch you red-handed while you are trying to neatly knit a virtual image of yours, what should you do? They say it's important that you sometimes show what you are not and you would eventually become what you showed!

That's where the thin line comes into picture! "Sow What you will be and are not, not Show what you will be that you are not!" One needs to know this thin line.

Help the other person believe in your potential to become what is needed but you are not, and assure that you would be with enough proofs of times when it has happened, that you have not had certain qualities and have developed just in time when required.

The reason I share this is - Big business losses and trust losses occur when this thin line is ignored. A totally detailed version of this is for sure available in the book - "Thin Lines" :)

Love is deep!!!! - deep below the beds of anger, frustration & the like at times...

There are times in life when pain simply needs to be gulped down the throat. You may not have been wrong, not have erred, but still the world seems to accuse you of the crime you never did and pass you blames you never deserved. World, here I say, refers to the people who mean the world to you, for, You or I would not care what rest of the world has to say anyway. At such moments just tell yourself, the frustration of theirs was killed and converted into smooth flow of crystals from your eyes, cleansing their heart and mind.

The dislike towards you might be killing, bear it for a while, as they mean the world to you is what you claim, and this is very little extra mile to ensure their smile. The ability of yours to simply gulp down the words that slip of their tongues could only result in a cleansed heart of theirs, void of any negatives, after which all that remains is love and affection. The love that, if seen, you can jump with joy, else assumptions are a definite solace.

They mean not to kill you, they mean to protect their love for you, and the want to release all of it, makes them shoot you to death, as all love is but hidden underneath the sheet of anger, frustration and hatred towards you. Hence there are times in life you have to simply...

Silenced you are! by the astonishing levels of anger and hatred that you believe you never were the reason for, they look at you with the eyes that have confirmed that you are the criminal worthy of being accused, and beyond that moment every act of yours is something they abhor.

Remember they still are the people who mean the world to you, and we all know that such people are very few. For, all that they have done for you, this fit of anger towards you definitely comes to you as really new. But as time goes by, as the things sink in deep, some alterations remain and some feelings go awry, few return their normal place while a new sunshine the nature throws to you yet again.

The ultimate truth lies here. The world comes back to the same position every 24 hours. The loved ones come back to you within the periodic cycle set. For, that's love! rest is all but an illusion.

What's even beyond is - 'all is temporary'. "Live till you live. Love till you live." ~Sujit Lalwani

Live & Let live is right. But LOVE & Let LOVE prevail!!! Don't kill it for a million tears~!

Inspiration Unlimited is a vision, founded as an answer to the present scenario in the world. The need for training is higher than ever in every manner. Values have to be restored. This time the felicitous process is hammering. The values need to be hammered into masses & potentials incarcerated inside need to be brought out. "I wish I could also do that..","I wish I could buy that..","I wish I could be working in that company..","I wish I could go to gym everyday..","I wish I had a dress like that..","I wish I could start my own blog..","How I wish people followed my twitter account as well..".. etc.

Many more such statements are a common set of words, which I hear from a number of people around and the whole purpose why I set up the vision Inspiration Unlimited was to uproot those reasons why the above statements are written like a wish and not like statements that express joy of having done it.

Through this platform of taking a lot of inspirational talks for lots of people, I met lot of people who even expressed: "I also wish to become a speaker like you..". My immediate answer would be a question: "who is stopping you?". A blank expression, an embarrassed face, a sad feeling, a question mark, state of confusion or others of this like are common results of this question of mine.

My answer to this question. You yourself, have been the reason to stop yourself. Most people come to me with an answer: "But, I do not know what it takes to make it big!",""But, I do not know what it takes to setup and grow!" etc.

If you know there is something that is stopping you: Lack of knowledge about something, Lack of interest, Lack of funds, Lack of right guidance, Lack of time(I dont and will never trust this one), Lack of motivation etc. The best part is your problem is solved. At least you know what is stopping you, the only thing remaining is to fight it and win it and take the steps towards making things happen.

There must be something that is already coming to your mind while reading this article, that you have not done in a long time now. THAT is the thing I am talking about friend. That thing needs your attention. That's the route to your happiness, at least if not happiness, a definite route to reducing sadness, dullness and regrets in your life of not having been able to do things.

I come with a simple solution for you:

Step 1: Sit down and write it as clearly as possible of what is that you intend to do.
Step 2: Write why would you want to do that?
Step 3: Where do you want to take it in the next 5 years.
Step 4: What all do you need to set this up? (In case you do not know the answer to this: Google it out or email me: is.sujitlalwani@gmail.com)
Step 5: What is your target for 1st month of starting what you would be and what is your target for first 3 months.
Step 6: THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP: START!!!

(Remember friends: It could be anything, that you would START: a hobby, a profession, a habit, a book that you always wanted to read, learning something(an instrument, or skill) etc.)

The above steps should not take more than 1-2hours. So here I take leave, requesting you to start something RIGHT NOW, that you have not done in a while now. I Conclude!

Your time starts now to start your one thing that you were thinking all along during the reading of this article. ANYTHING. Once you start it, share it with your friends(encouraging ones initially). Each of us go through times when we need to prove ourself, justify ourself, convince others we are right or something similar. We have also gone through times, when we have, with pure intentions, done all good for people and under covers of situational apperances and misunderstandings we are back stabbed. We have all seen people who seem to be really busy and with no absolute time at all (as per their claims), but they seem to have all the time in the world to speak rubbish about others (in more crude terms bitch about others).

At some or the other point of our life, career or growth chart we are bound to encounter such instances when some of the above happen to us. So let's be mentally prepared and have our purpose clear. Let's make a few of the lines below as our thumbrules and live better!

(They are few of my facebook updates: Together they make a great lesson! (hence, the title))

1. All have weaknesses! So before you point your fingers at someone else's flaws look into yourself and you will realise - "lifetime is too short to correct yourself"! Happy Self-Leadership! :)

2. JUSTIFICATION is the weapon for people, who are weak in their deeds!

3. When we spend time justifying who we are, we lose time from the task of creating who we could be. So lets not believe in justifying ourselves. Let our deeds do it for us. God knows the truth.

4. Scores of people ask me, why do I never hate people. My logic is simple - in this short life (assuming life span: 65 yrs) of 23,741 days, APPROX 2/3rds of days will be lost in sleeping and other redundant reasons.

Rest what remains - approx. 7300 days, means a lot to me and I believe is a real short time with big visions to be accomplished and lots of close, semi close and not so close people to be loved...:) why lose time hating people. GOD IS THERE NO!

5. At all stages you will meet loads of people, who will back stab you. Even amazing are the people, who will stab you in the face. So what, get up and keep walking. After all thats life. Back stabbing is seasonal, if it starts, it has an end as well. Life is permanent. Love all, live tall.

6. Off late people have been asking me, why dont you talk negative about people who talk negative about you. My answer: Why waste time doing something which someone else is doing it. Lets do something else and that which is more positive!!! :):) What say guys?

Note: These are applicable under circumstances, when you know your intentions, your deeds have been pure and good.

Let's talk positive: Do you have time to justify yourself to otherwise people(not so wise)? Do you have time to hate backstabbers?(forgive and forget, newly - forgive, but dont forget) In case you have time for all this, then for sure you have small dreams and small purposes in your life. Kindly make changes now. For, LIFE IS ONCE!

Friends we just have two eyes, and both cannot look in two different directions at the same time. IF you are looking back at your life all the time, it clearly means you are not looking ahead.

What further justification is required to address the issue in your life, if you are not moving ahead, it is likely you are not looking in that direction. The whole irony of life is - "No matter in which direction you look, LIFE MOVES AHEAD!"

We are all in search of lives where we are looking forward to live life, that can be without pain & full of pleasure.

We are all in continuous efforts, to reduce pain and at number of occasions, even blaming god for the kind of painful lives he has given to us. Man is an animal who passes justifications of his convenience and hence finds himself in misery all the time.

If only, we stopped justifying out of convenience and started accepting few things as given truths and that we have to live them, by chance & with no choice, we would be more happier. After all, thats the ultimate goal of life. (ultimate is higher above, but for our earthly existence, happiness is peaks of glorious life.)

We blame situations, circumstances and people for our painful situations of life, for the pain we need to go through. But we seldom realise what is that pain all about?

The pain we exclaim and crib about, is nothing but, a certain set of expectations gathered during the journey of life, from the surrounding we groomed ourselves in, from the people around us, whom we relentlessly, without choice observed making choices, and hence took an emoitional growth of our own.

Felt pain, for what pain meant to them, felt joy for what meant joy to them. As we grew, we thought we were gathering our own wisdom, and learning to build our own value system of pain, pleasure and happiness (PPH).

But eventually the viscious circle didnt leave us there. Seldom were we found not caught in the PPH arena of emotions.

Pain is totally subjective. A situation of pain to someone, is a situation of joy or challenge for someone else.

I urge my readers to introspect about things that are causing you pain, list them down and do the following:
1. Ignore some, which are irrelevant.
2. Accept few which cannot be changed.
3. Take action for which immediate rectification is possible.
4. Cut expectations and set a belief system.

5. Stop focussing on the word pain. Believe - it's all the plan of god.
6. Last but not the least: "PATIENCE & FAITH".

(expecting to solve all your problems and be sure of applying the above written things in one shot or after one reading is yet another pain)

"Hope to see you free of pain in life". Be allergic to this statement, for this is false. None is free of pain. It's just that you apply the above six things and convert pain into gain and happiness. Pain is permanent. It just changes form, either changes to pleasure with perception or converts itself into another form of pain.

So, my dear readers, God bless you all with the strength & wisdom to deal with your pain in the right manner.

The "Done List" counts!

It's a common sight, that people are busy thinking, planning & imagining. But my dear friends, at the end of the day, what really counts is how much has been done, not how much was thought over.

When we leave this planet earth and meet the almighty (if this is true) the things that we would be rewarded for, are not how well & how much we thought or how well & how much we imagined. We would rather be awarded for how well and how much we did.

It's yet another common occurence, that we hear people speak words/phrases like: "I also thought the same", "In fact, I had the same idea.","I was just going to do that.", "I had almost thought the same thing","I had a better plan"... All in vain. One who does, DOES IT & DESERVES IT!

Thinkers are blinkers. They are confused thats why they do not take steps further. It's true that thinking and planning is the foundation for any action. But, remember the objective of the foundation is to hold the building, not exist for/by itself. ~ Sujit Lalwani

So my dear readers, I am aware that your mind is a storehouse of thoughts/ideas/imaginations. Put the resource in place, work out your plan and make a start. Run time issues, requirements & problems can be understood, corrected and solved only if you start running.

First idea, second idea, third one - all in a row can be utter failures and you might be told and made to feel that you aint capable. Rememeber the fourth one could be the breakthrough you were looking for and majority of the times, that is the case. So let today be the day when you start. In fact, RIGHT NOW!

Once In A While!

Once in a while. I come to blogger to find myself, out of topics to write, I ponder, I think, I wonder, I introspect, But I find nothing that hits my head hard, that I can blog about. I decide, I can be different once in a while. I can write anything that comes to my mind. I can just pour my words down here, to let my readers, I am feeling that am out of topics for today.

Just then it strikes my mind, this itself is a worthy topic I can write about. This itself has vastness that eyes, not so normal, can gauge. I commence with an abruptly initiated thought and as i proceed, I am surprised at myself, to find myself having perfectly aligned thoughts - aligned so well - that I know I can write an entire chapter for a book.

Just then, I conclude, that It's always just a start that you need. No matter, how abrupt you begin, how under prepared you are, how less skilled/talented you are. Just begin.

Just begin, With a determination to make it to perfection, to achieve an end goal on mind, to do something that lasts after you. You will see you would have forgotten where & how you started and find yourself in a list of perfectionists before late. I have just started my life, with an abrupt state of success and with arbitrary beginning and ideas.

I am very sure, the time is'nt too far, when my ideas, visions and goals will be perfectly aligned and I will count myself in the list of perfectionists and achievers! It is an abrupt beginning, but what counts is where I take it before I meet the end. I am glad I HAVE STARTED!

As a great leader once said: "It all started small, including the Universe!"

Another leader happened to quote - "The First step to making it big, is to start dreaming! The second is to start doing! The third is to shout: "I HAVE DONE IT" Because you would have!"

It has been quite sometime since I brought myself to this page, to write down something that will express what I think & feel and eventually help my readers gain some insight into principles of life & install a few extra feathers into the wings of wisdom...

May be what caused the delay itself was the cause for upgradation of software on my head, to be able to bring something totally deep & fresh. The wisdom this post brings along friends might be something you may not expect from an inspirational blog like mine, but I believe a true inspirational article is one that prepares you for hard times than just give you faith over winning the easy ones.

This blog is an output of the most challenging & demanding time of my life, on the personal & professional front, & I triumphed over it. Success is not just the story you tell on the professional front. Unless your personal side of the story is filled with love, care, friends & family, the success seems to be hollow & loneliness seems to follow. The biography might sound exciting, thrilling & inspirational to read, but autobiography showing the reality of your feelings will include a chapter, not just a page, to tell a tale how lonely the man was when he reached the top.

Hence it is essential to strike the balance in life on the personal & professional front. You need a friend who comforts you, that family which supports you like a floor, pillar, walls, ceiling & a wing (as per your requirement), that special someone of your life - your spouse or yet to be, those colleagues who just love to work with you and your mentors who would love to guide you looking at your commitment levels. You NEED all of them. It is quite important to build attitudes and time schedules which can cater to them all. Majority cannot prioritise and hence their stories impact a smaller part of the world. People who fight hard to strike this balance, fail miserably a number of times, but eventually when they come out glorious have life stories which can lead generations to come.

But amidst all these efforts of yours, trying hard to strike balance between love for work, love for family, friends, hobbies, passions & other things, there are phases which can cruel, hard, devastating & very unexpected, which set things off track for you in one shot.

Imagine changing the orbit of the earth in a blink of the eye, it would simply mean different calendar, different schedules for day & night, different types of weather cycles, climatic conditions etc. May be all of it may mean a planet with no life at all. But the challenge is to still be full of life even when the orbit has been changed & achieving that is the highest state of leadership. Some incidents of your life, may throw you into an orbit, that may leave you lifeless & barren, but it is then that the lesson in this blog should come back to your mind, & you should be able to tell yourself that there is hope, Simply because You are not a planet!!!

Sit down with yourself, put down all that's worth living for still, all those who still love you, no matter how much they do, all those people who still expect from you, all those things still worth fighting for, all those dreams yet unfulfilled & believe me these seeds sown on the land with changed conditions shall bring a new era of plantations & vegetation, new life, new atmospheric conditions & color shall seem to everywhere once again. Never the same as before but yet bright & beautiful. As once the young inspirational speaker, Sujit Lalwani quoted in one of his talks "The purpose of life is not to keep repeating history, The purpose is to keep creating history"

To conclude I summarise it simply - "everything is not under our control but choosing to react to every situtation with a heart that is crying or with a heart that is still trying is definitely under our control."

I request my reader to title this blog, because I believe it is something that reflects each of your stories and hence I could not name it "My life". Its OUR LIFE rather I would name it - just "LIFE". Waiting to read the titles you give to this one!

Day Before Yesterday!

It was just day before yesterday, to today, that is 18.01.2011. I wake up early around 7am, when I have slept pretty late the night before that. I wake up to realise, I just 25 more days to go before I turn 24, & as per my expectations I have loads to do, before I turn 24, to be able to look back in pride at my life.

I push myself hard. Switch on my new LENOVO Y560 laptop (4GB Ram, 2.5GB dedicated graphics card(PHEW!!! WHOA!!!), 500GB Hard Disk, Core i5 Processor, windows 7, 2.5GHz processor speed) & am awed by the feature which my previous laptop never had - the sticky notes. I just love them. I used to have them all over my table before. This time I had them all over my laptop home screen.

I realised, I had too many TO-DO lists on my home screen of the laptop. I realised I needed a separate to-do list for all to-do lists. There were whopping 160+ things to be completed, pretty sizeable in nature of tasks. Unbelievable multi-tasking, management including delegation, monitoring, doing things & getting things done. Prioritizing, accomplishing, co-ordinating, adjusting, handling, cancelling, scheduling, rescheduling, promoting, pushing, doing, getting it done, communicating, calling, typing, organising, updating, searching etc..

As I continued with the work, with my ear phones on, throughout the day, till afternoon and early evening till 4pm, I had continuous calls with associates all across. Calls, e-Mails, writing, reading, analysing, deciding, delegating... WHOA!!!

I just didnt want to lose focus at any point & kept myself reminded of the lists on the screen. As the day went by, the done list got longer and to-do seemed firm in length. Continuing the momentum, I just realised by the end of the day, which quite late in the night or rather early next day morning (close to 4.30 am - as it's almost going to be again tonight)I had completed 142 simple, medium & large size tasks!

A great day with supreme satisfaction & sleep with utmost peace & highly sound in nature was something I deserved as the day folded up. When I looked back over it in the reverse chronological order, I just realised & felt, if one day could add so much meaning to life, imagine what 27 days that remained before I turn 24 could do. And most surprisingly amidst all this, I did care to spend time on "FFF - friends, family & facebook. ~ Sujit Lalwani" :):):)

I recommend you all, to look into your days, weeks and months & see what can make you add more meaning to life. For, it's only together that we can bring in order, peace & harmony into this world, which is on the track of complete chaos, crime, disorder, disharmony & de-energized spirits...

A very happy & a prosperous new year to all my folks! As 2011 dawns upon our lives, as it brings new dates that our calendar had never seen before, it's time for us to tighten our seat belts & prepare ourselves for a journey to touch apex of performance in every dimension we venture into.

"Life of Purpose is the purpose of life" A great philosopher once quoted. I truly believe those of you have come across the purpose instinct for your life, Move ahead on the path without re-thinking your plans. Believe me everything you want shall unfold. "Those who chased castles, died without discovering the purpose of their life, Those who chased purpose in life, built castles in reality..."

May your year 2011 bring you closer to the purpose of your life. I earnestly urge my readers, to resolve ardently to walk with faith on the path of purpose, than to dithyrambically walk on the path of temporary joys & pleasures!

Look back into your last year, recall all the times, when you were told you cant do something, this new year challenge yourself & decide that you will prove them wrong. Recall the times, when you felt you were not upto the mark for the task at hand, it's time to rise up to the level you demand yourself to be at & gather adulations. Recall the times when you were bogged down because of pressures due to multiple things you were supposed to do, you either mismanaged or gave up, this new year, decide to make it look like a child's play & win each time you need to play.

Recall the times, when you were hurt, ill-treated, rejected, ignored.. this new year decide, to forget it all & love yourself to the core & believe that you are the best. Recall the times, when you tried & failed in every attempt you made, this new year decide you will try until you succeed relentlessly yet again with new enthusiasm & stand as a testimonial for phoenix.

Time 4 Last Minute SPRINT!!!

As the date 31st December comes close by, It is a natural deadline, given by the Big Boss, for completing your pending works that can be tagged with the current year in your future when you look back into your past. It's time as very few days remain in hand. There is loads of time to go before 2011, steps into our life, or very meagre time to go, depends on number of things done before the date on the calendar shows 01.01.2011.

The people pursuing engineering or for that matter today any disclipline, accustomed to the last minute preparation for their exams, will be able to totally emapthise, with how much can be accomplished in these last few days remaining for this year.

If an entire subject can be studied on the last night, I urge you to think, with remaining days, As I write this blog, Just imagine how much can go into your completed tasks list, before you enter 2011. Since I had this strong push from within few days back & it really made me gather marvellous moments within this year itself, when majority of them around me, were already relying on the fact, that the year has almost come to an end, Many speaking jargons like - "My God!, this year flew past like a fighter plane, could nt do much at all, Need to resolve for the coming year.". Trust me resolutions can be made at 00.00.00 hours on 1 jan 2011.

It's as of now time to fasten your seat belts and like a sprinter, take the fast sprint of the entire lap in these remaining days. Be it spending time with your friends, meeting your relatives, boosting up your business, kick starting your new idea, setting up the foundation stone for your new house, taking your first business presentation, adding your friends on facebook, mailing your friends whom you have not for ages, visiting your teachers, gifting your parents if you have not for long, completing long pending tasks, writing your poems, articles, painting (if you are a painter), planning up your investments, long drives, travels, installing softwares, social activities - teaching underprivileged ppl, visiting an orphanage/oldage home, blood donation camp, any other deed that can make a difference, proposing your special someone, the moment you have been waiting for, eat outs, beach visits, party, shopping, seminars, reading a book, completing a novel etc...

Be it anything, Finish it once this year so that you can do it once again in 2011, instead of putting it off to the next year. Hope this blog will increase the activity levels of all readers, inspiring you all to do more and you would pass this message on to as many more people before this ends and all of us together will pull off a net increase in things accomplished in 2010, at an otherwise slow-down time.

In my very recent past, as recent as the days which have not still made the fragrance of my perfume fade away from my shirt, I came across a number of people, whom I questioned to find out, what the new seven wonders of the world are, and if they knew anything about them. To my disappointment, Majority of them did not know. Many seemed to be least worried about knowing them at all. Some showed signs of disinterest(I agree you wont be returned anything for knowing them, but still..). Or some said - "TAJ MAHAL!!!!...." & thats it a long pause would follow.

Being a little disappointed & assuming same might be the case with some of my worthy readers of this blog, I decided to be of some help and thought atleast my readers should be a step ahead. This blog is a small effort to show you that I care about your growth!. Hope you like this.

The new seven wonders of the world:

1. Chichen Itza: is a large pre-Columbian archaeological site built by the Maya civilization located in the northern center of the Yucatán Peninsula, in the Yucatán state, present-day Mexico.

2. Christ Redeemer Statue: is a statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; considered the second largest Art Deco statue in the world. The statue is 39.6 metres (130 ft) tall, including its 9.5 meter (31 feet) pedestal, and 30 metres (98 ft) wide. It weighs 635 tonnes (700 short tons), and is located at the peak of the 700-metre (2,300 ft) Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park overlooking the city.

3. Colosseum in Italy: is an elliptical amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy, the largest ever built in the Roman Empire. It is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and Roman engineering. Occupying a site just east of the Roman Forum, its construction started between 70 and 72 AD, under the emperor 'Vespasian' and was completed in 80 AD under 'Titus'.

4. Taj Mahal: is one of the most recognizable structures in the world. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is widely considered as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and stands as a symbol of eternal love. Taj Mahal is the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Islamic and Indian architectural styles.

In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site

5. Great Wall of China: is a series of stone and earthen fortifications in northern China, built originally to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire against intrusions by various nomadic groups. Several walls have been built since the 5th century BC that are referred to collectively as the Great Wall, which has been rebuilt and maintained from the 5th century BC through the 16th century.

6. Petra, Jordan: is a historical and archaeological city in the Jordanian governorate of Ma'an that is known for its rock cut architecture and water conduits system. Established sometime around the 6th century BCE as the capital city of the Nabataeans, it is a symbol of Jordan as well as its most visited tourism attraction. It lies on the slope of Mount Hor, in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah (Wadi Araba), the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. Petra has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985.

7. Machu Picchu, Peru: is a pre-Columbian 15th-century Inca site located 2,430 metres (7,970 ft) above sea level.[1][2] It is situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in Peru, which is 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Cusco and through which the Urubamba River flows. Most archaeologists believe that Machu Picchu was built as an estate for the Inca emperor Pachacuti (1438–1472). Often referred to as "The Lost City of the Incas", it is perhaps the most familiar icon of the Inca World.

Machu Picchu was built in the classical Inca style, with polished dry-stone walls. Its three primary buildings are the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of the Three Windows. These are located in what is known by archaeologists as the Sacred District of Machu Picchu.

Mom, I am learning!

It was so frequent that my Mom used to be ready with a stare & sometimes a stick to correct me, & perfect me where I went wrong. (stick here refers to any kind of props used to induce fear in me, to discontinue the wrong deeds I was happily pursuing, without the guilt, for I never realised they were wrong. After all, whats so wrong in playing a shot like sachin does on the field. But, I do realise today, the difference between shots sachin played & shots I played in my childhood, while his shots landed beyond the rope, mine landed on the bulbs, showcase & flower vase!)

Then, it used to fill me with a feeling, why does she always find faults in me, no-one around is perfect, no-one else gets scolded this badly at home everyday as I do(though that wouldnt be the case), I would end up with feelings -"am I that bad?"... But sometimes all that happened in my childhood, I realise today, was so much for my good. I realised it deeply when I was observing my mom recently, who is not keeping that well, off late, busy with a vacuum cleaner in her room.

After her morning busy schedule, it's the afternoon where she gets some time to breathe, but then no, what I forgot was it's my MOM. She gives me a call, I rush to her room to find out that it's an order for me to go downstairs to ground floor, to get the vaccuum cleaner upstairs.

I just went down giving a look to my entire house, which was looking cleaner than an expert cleaned place, or a neat looking dirt free, five star hotel would look. I was wondering, why would she need a vaccuum cleaner at this time. Killing my curiosity after giving her the kit, I figured out it was just to suck the small little extremely tiny organisms that were starting to grow on the ceiling of the first floor due to rainy season, & these would not normally come under the notice of any of the rest of us, at home.

Now I realise, already clean home, remains clean forever & this brilliant feeling of stepping into this home does not come because of everyday cleaning chores alone, there are a lot of times, when mom is busy cleaning employing our maid into extra activity, just to ensure long term cleanliness & providing all of us this super hygeinic environment to grow. It just needs an attitude of seeking perfection.

No one has ever awarded her, like the number of awards maybe I have recieved for my work, No one has recognized this effort of my MOM which she invests to keep things perfect, No one has interviewed her, Or taken her as a role model for her fine attitudes of excellence in what she does, Hence, I dedicate this blog to my mother who makes our house, a SPECIAL HOME - Super clean, super hygeinic, super positively energised place. "No complains about the stick any more Mom, for Now I know how you removed those smallest of the inadequacies in me, when no one else could spot one in me!!!"

The conclusion I derive from this little observation of mine is that same applies to organisations, networks, institutions, companies, managements, country politics, governments etc. It so much depends on the unrecognized efforts of innumerous people who actually spend their relaxation hours on activities of less significance to the common eyes, which continuously drive away dirt from the organisations, institiutions & over all the society. It is these efforts that act in unison to take the organisation to high accolades of success.

What was so far going unrecognized, unnoticed, as I cared to bring it to my reader's notice. I request you to pass this article to as many people as you can & I urge you to ask yourself this question & answer it honestly - "In which direction of your life, have you tried to input your efforts to seek perfection today, even if they meant go unrecognized & they killed your relaxation time?".

"Little unnoticed, unrecognized efforts of ours today, can pay off in a big way tomorrow." To all my readers, I must say, it's the efforts of you readers who motivate & care to read my articles that makes me write more.

Hope this cleaned some bugs in the corner on the ceiling of your mind...

I have spent studying not less than 16 years

They taught a lot of principles in the science of moral
But all of them, in reality, seemed an obsolete model

But realized in the real world, it was all just politics

I learnt and learnt, but between what I had learnt and what it is
There seemed to be existing no clarity
I was taught everything, but never taught what reality is

Computer literacy camp to teach 40 orphans on Gandhi Jayanthi! May more of us take inspiration from these youngsters!

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, a set of individuals joined hands to do something extraordinary. They decided to make a difference to the future generation of our country. As the Father of our nation has always quoted “Be the Change you want to make in the society”, these individuals believed that they could be the ones to initiate this change!

Technology has made today’s world a completely different place to live in, the foundation of which is laid forward by computers. Unfortunately India is far behind when it comes to computer literacy rate which is just about 7%. Owing to this reason our country is still in the race to level out with the developed nations. Knowing that one of the main reasons for this situation is poverty and lack of awareness, this team of youngsters gave a helping hand to those underprivileged children who lack the basic necessities of life.

On 2nd October, 2010 the students of “Anatha Sishu Nivasa” were lucky to get an insight into computer education in a whole new way. The team consisted of 35 youngsters who educated around 70 students accomplishing our mission of “Each One Teach Two”. The awareness camp began at 10.00 am when the students were waiting with all their enthusiasm to get their hands on computers. Equally awaiting were the associates to impart their knowledge to the children.

Using the power of network, 9 laptops were arranged for the camp. The students were divided in two batches while one batch was having a hands on session on the laptops the other batch were showcasing their talents. They were taught the basic hardware and operations of computers for 3 hours. At the end of the camp, the students were handed over certificates for the successful completion of their course.

The associates had an altogether different feeling during the camp. This was something many young people of the country wish to do but never end up doing it in reality. Indeed it was a small team to start with, but with big visions in their mind. Again quoting Mahatma Gandhi, “Whatever You Do Will Be Insignificant, But It Is Very Important That You Do It!”.

This is what they always believed in and are on their way to turning their vision into reality. By the end of the day, every child had a smiling face and eager eyes to know when this team will be visiting them again to make a big difference to their lives.

There is nothing called HARD WORK - its just focus, mind-set and feelings.

Majority of us think of physical strain when we think of hard work. I do not agree with this, It may or may not be physical strain. Well before some work or acitivity can tire us up, the feeling on the mind that we carry, having convinced ourselves, that we are sure to get really tired, tires us up completely, leaving us with no zeal to pursue what we want to accomplish.

Majority of the times the hard work is not actually the effort we input to do something, its instead the effort to fight these negative emotions and still do the work we intend to.

Half the battle can be won, if we can avoid these thoughts at the first place, that we are going to work hard or we already have worked really hard for the day or for the week. Once we have eliminated these thoughts about how much needs to be done, or how much was done, half the path is tread.

The other half can be tread effortlessly, if one can enjoy the work he/she is doing. Its just about filling yourself with enthusiasm and energy and re-inforcing each fact you love about what you just about to do. In simple words: "love what you do, dont do what you dont love, but when you are doing something you better love it."

Discovering/figuring out the interesting sides to your work is the task you need to accomplish before you set out into action. Once this is done, repeatedly doing what you love and that what peps you up, even 10% of the time, can make 100% of your work feel super interesting to you.

The last thing to eliminate to accomplish things at hand to perfection is to avoid distractions and that happens by focusing and re-focusing. Its like a straight road with a left turn at a point on its path. Our actual route is along left turn, but the sign boards in the distant scene of Mc Donalds attract us on the running straight road, we feel we have nt lost speed, but we would have lost focus for sure.

So time and again, look into your map and re-focus yourself towards your goals and everything you do should speeden up the process of reaching your goals!

NOTE: Goals do enhance and grow as we expose ourselves to more and more things in our day to day lives, Hence timely confirmations of the route map become extremely inevitable for success.

"you are an amazing speaker/personality/leader/orator/person(as such)", are frequent phrases that fall on my ears, But recently a rare set of words fell on my ear drums, and left the diaphragm with heavy vibrations of high amplitudes and even now I can tune a tuning fork of high frequency to create resonance. "Such people (like me) are dual personalities, never keep in touch with them!"

I started wondering, How people who have never had, even a single conversation with me, have derived this conclusion about me. But when this hit my ears, I knew my introspection habit would lead my thoughts into some sort of analysis, and this is what I could gather from this random explosion of thoughts that happened, which expanded in all possible directions and still expanding, like the universe after the big bang.

One of directions I analysed, led me to this thought - that all of us, by nature of this civilization we have created, have to maintain multiple personalities, behaviours and attitudes under different situtations, as the need may be. We have to carry ourselves in different ways at different times.

None of us, would open up ourselves completely to strangers, so we put up an image which is commonly put up to strangers, and then slowly once the person begins to keep in touch or the contact persists(for known/unknown objectives as the case maybe), we slowly open up and our "trueself"(which am yet to analyse what it means) rather the so called "true self" comes out.

I feel this word "trueself" is the reflection of the core inner beliefs/character/attitudes and deeper exposure of an individual to the other person, rather than it being the "other side".

My arguement in this write-up only stands to explain, that its not "other side", but that we all have a deeper look of ours, which people miss. The Surface has to bear looks which are made up to suit the needs of the, then objectives and as the time passes by, the depth gets revealed, and what probably for some people means, the other side, is that when deeper self is opposite in nature to the surface, thats when people feel cheated and claim it to be the other side. What I truly feel is that, a few meetings and conversations with a person would reveal the inner self of that individual, only then one has the complete right to conclude or rather describe that person.

Majority of us would have formed our conclusions based on our experiences with a few set of people, few set of conversations or experiences we would have had. But the kind of experience I have had in my life, of having met people in huge numbers from all back-grounds and walks of life, and actually having spent time with them, I have come to realise that judgements on basis of similarity are partially correct only and not completely reliable and judgements without an interaction at all with any individual are as good as predicting the outcome of a dice, you are bound to be having 1-6th correctness in every prediction, which does not make you a genius in any manner.

Some sort of cluster of thoughts on my head, has got resolved to conclude, that the "other side of mine" is the actually the "deeper side" of me and not the other side. If my surface behaviour and my inner most attitudes or behaviours after prolonged interaction with a person are opposites - Under such situations my deeper side, shall get reflected as my other side:):)

Preserve your originality even though you have to pretend under many circumstances, but thats not how world is, you have to pretend at times! There is no option.

Expecting comments column of this blog to teach me a lot in this regard, expecting you to pour down your perception on this. Does every body have an other side? Or is it only me? or do I actually have another side? If yes, I am yet to discover:)

PHEW...!!! This blog has been just a collection of random thoughts, as good as garbage and unusable waste. But people have built gardens with available waste around them, is what I read in school days and was thrilled. So, am expecting the same, atleast from one of the readers, to be one such personality, hope you are not a dual one:) Create taste with waste!

Strength of relationships has not got to do much with the amount of time spent with the Individual!

Relationships and the related issues are a common topic of discussion with oneself or with others, more common than the air molecules around us. They touch every neuron of ours. As every name stored on our mind of a person is a relation and brings along inevitably a lot of thoughts, some conscious and others sub-conscious.

I have heard a lot of complains from a lot of people - That "we knew and were bonded for a decade and more, How could you do this to me?" Its like the Lantern, the strength of the flame can be controlled with the knob, but once the fuel is extinct inside the container, no matter how much you turn the knob or play around with that little lantern, you cannot hope to see the flame again, until you refuel it and trigger the flame with a splinter.

All I mean to say is that - though the amount of time spent with an individual accumulates greater number of memories in our life, if the recent ones are bad, and the misconceptions are high, then the re-inforcement of these bad memories of recent past repeatedly, will overshadow the strength and good memories of the relationship, and soon be a great reason & a valid one of course, to break the thread of this relation, leaving it into pieces and can bring it back only with a knot.

The mother who gives birth to a child, brings an entity into the world, whom she knows not, not more than until 9 months ago, she knew she concieved this life, but the strength of this relation is beyond our understanding.

Its the dreams of the future with this individual already built, for years before this life was concieved, and the emotional bonding, attachment and the feeling of possessing this life nurtured for long that decides the strength.

Likewise there are times when we have seen people who have met a few days, years or months ago, and they claim they would be partners for life long, Is a direct effect of the feelings and their strength is due to innumerous self-re-inforcements of the emotions of dreams of future together they would love to build.

The strength of relation goes to an extent, that history is a proof, for people who got wed beyond the desires of society, they could cut through the societal pressures, the pressures from society are nothing but relational pressures, which fall small in front of the strength of the relation. In case the emotional strength is not enough to combat the societal pressures, the re-inforcements are not strong enough, the reverse decisions are claimed in some cases.

But cases where we see people get attached to something/someone and get deeply engrossed into that relation with time, are the ones who materialise the strongest relations and then there are not many forces more powerful than death, that can result in breakage.

But there is a lesson - "THE LANTERN LESSON"... the relations are subject to change, the fuel is the reason for the flame, One needs to keep the flame going, keep the fuelling the lantern, and never let it extinct, keep the knob turned towards "high" symbol - then you enjoy long lasting permanent, and ever jovial and pleasure giving relationships.

The direct question on the mind of the reader now, is obvious -"what is this fuel all about?" - Its the dreams of future, recollection of past memories(the ones that are positive and make you happy), re-inforcements of trust, re-inforcements of pride in the relation, re-inforcement of satisfaction of the presence of the other entity/individual in our life.

This concept of relationship - applies to organisations you are working for, applicable to ensure your teams working with you attached with you and your organisation, the people you are attached to, your relationships(life-partners), your bonding with your family and friends.

Even a kinder-garten student can now conclude - "what is enmity? who is an enemy?"
and how can these negative feelings be eliminated!

Hope you readers enjoyed this piece of article, its just the thoughts that conjured over a period of time, when I stand and look back at my life, which is cluster of relationships, some broken, some rejoiced, some strengthened, some beyond the scope of understanding and some that i enjoy even today!

Patience is the key to success!

* Amount of Success in life:
S(L) = k x e^(t x T^(n))

* Amount of success in particular dimension:
S(D)= k x e^(t x T^(1))= k x e^(t x T)

t=length of time for which patience was tested.
T=toughness of the test.
n=No of dimensions in which your patience was tested like family, career etc.(n>=1)

Amount of success is exponentially related to the length of time for which your patience was tested and how tough the test was. Whenever you are being tested hard and longer - just remember to keep going. The Left hand side of the equation will increase for sure and as the test keeps going longer and harder, the reward multiplies.

There comes a time when the break point of every dimension is reached & the time & toughness cease to grow. Thats where god loses patience and wants to reward you. The rewards start materialising. Miracles are product of this equation when our Patience does not break until God loses patience. Wherever and whenever our patience takes a pause to resume, we are rewarded our results.

The greater the pause and longer the dip we take back on the curve. Ensure your breaks are small and they dont pull you down and you are back into activity.

This blog is just an output of my love for physics and patience I have to conjure ideas and put them into mathematics, trying to satisfy all expected/unexpected conditions. Since I need 2 end the blog, my patience could not last until I could
materialise every aspect of this equation/theory completely.

The rewards would be given right away. I resume to this theory, and will contemplate deeper. This pause shall be as short as the amount of time you would take to reward me good comments:)

Crazy about Shopping? Read on..

If you speak to people above sixty in India,most of them will agree that Indian households never used to hold anything more than what is necessary. Scenario has changed these days. There are more dresses unused than the used ones, in the wardrobes. There are just too many toys for kids, too many footwears, more no of mobile phones than the no of people who use them, too many electric appliances. Too many products to maintain the house, many more to maintain our own beauty, more food items found wasted in every household, and the list goes on. (There are of course exceptions, I am talking about new generation of workforce, having decently or
highly paid professions and living in cities).

What’s bringing such a high sweep of shopping craze?

Isn’t it true that we most often end up buying things that get used for few days or even lesser? These are the answers I find. When we enter a supermarket or a mall, things are so easily accessible and beautifully laid that we tend to buy things just for the fun of it. There are many tricks used by supermarkets to get their things sold. Then the availability of plastic money, leaves us with no reason of having no cash to buy something. We can take so much on credit using credit cards after all. Shopping has become much more easier with our e-shopping.

Of course all supermarkets, our cards, e-shopping etc are a great help for necessary shopping, in our busy lives. But, there are things to be cautious about. Such shopping not only plays heavy on your pockets, but also clutters your households. Most of your free time that can be given to important things and people in your life, will go away in uncluttering or cleaning stuffs out. Most of us repent only when we fall short of funds for something important. And more importantly,
mindless shopping ultimately creates much more garbage than we can imagine. We will just end up harming our environment more.

I am trying to get more frugal in many ways possible.Go green, start with small steps. Whenever you plan to buy things, make a list and delay buying those things, which are not very urgently required and whose utility you are not sure about. When you go through the list again down few months, you will find most of them unnecessary. Try to reuse things and try to buy more reusable, recyclable things. There’s so much we can do to help ourselves and the surroundings.

Points to be noted:

*Avoid impulsive buying.

*When you buy, buy quality products that last long.

*Buy more reusable stuff than the disposables.

*Try to buy stuff that can be recycled.

"Just when you think & feel you have got all the answers to all the questions in your life, God changes the question paper itself!" - Thats life in one statement.

I know most of you are into introspection, with the very first reading of this statement, thats what happened to me, when I first spoke out this statement to few of my colleagues. A very powerful feeling, that this is so true about life. Majority of us, work really hard to shape up an easier life, a comfortable life, wherein we can reach a state where we can pamper ourselves continuously, and we never seem to reach there. Each time we think we have resolved every issue and there are no more answers we need to seek, any more the boat of life shall sail smooth, very next moment is turbulence in the ocean of life, high tides, disturbing waves and we need to be prepared for it.

It happened a number of times in my life, until I reached my 10th Class, I always thought I would go on to become a CA, after 10th I fell in love with science, universe, physics, etc. then I started dreaming of being a theoretical physicist. Studied everything I could within 12th itself, upto partial differential equations, everything in depth about quantum mechanics to the extent of understanding of the present research going on. A concept slightly difficult to percieve and understand. It involves everything thats vague and ambiguous.

Targetted IIT Mumbai - MSc Physics course. Got through IIT-JEE screening round, could not crack mains (another failure of my life). Ended up at NITK Surathkal in Mechanical engineering deciding to become the best mechanical engineer. Felt glad that Mech. Engg was closely related to Physics. But by the time I finish my first year of engineering and master further concepts of engineering and physics, the entreprenuership bug caught me.

First time something in my life, had touched which gave me a feeling, its possible to make every dream a reality if you can stand, truly, for what you want. Just endlessly keep your purpose in mind and it shall materialise. Be prepared for challenges at every step and be very flexible if your path takes a turn, but keep purpose in mind.

Today am learning accounts to handle my business (slowly but surely, (dream of becoming a CA)), keeping in pace with physics to ensure I study physics after 5-6 years from today, An inspirational Speaker by profession, inspiring people. A programmer, because I fell in love with programming in my engineering. Atleast, today I can code in my own sites. Upcoming author with the challenge of releasing my first book in another 8 months, MBA aspirant(scored 94% in trial attempt in CAT last november). A strong network marketer today promoting the vision of computer literacy and standing for this cause. Serving the society by shaping up leaders who can take this task further & building a team of inspirational speakers.

Each time at every step when I felt I have got my answers, for the questions "WHO AM I?" life showed a new route, deviating from my dreams, taking a complete detour, but actually each time, eventually, every detour met my PURPOSE HIGHWAY.

So here I stand today as still a person seeking answers to new set of questions, which never were mine. Hence, I conclude - "BE PREPARED!" are the keywords for progress in life. Keep yourself prepared and be willing to change and adapt quickly to changing cirmstances and needs of life and you will see every dream of yours will turn into reality and every detour will lead to your eventual dream destination.

Life will show you unexpected changes and detours to test how strongly you can stand for what you want. Keep walking and walk boldly towards your dream. Everything under the sky is possible. "Impossible belongs to another universe, where men dont live, god does not bless and dreams dont exist!" ~ Sujit Lalwani. I request you not to belong to that universe.

Do Not Convince Yourself, Punish Yourself!

There are times when we have a deadline to meet, a target to achieve, a work to complete & we would not have completed the work. The first thing majority of us do is, we convince ourselves with all logically sound reasons & explanations, as to why the particular target could not be achieved.

But, the most justified thing to be done under such circumstances is to ensure, we accept the fact that we missed out on our target because of our shortcomings and make an effort to make up for it, with the deadline of the next target. We need to make an effort to get better at what we lack, due to which we missed our target. We need to punish ourselves.

We need to get strict with ourselves. As is said: "When you get strict with yourself, Life gets lenient with you. When you get lenient with yourself, Life gets strict with you." ~ Sujit Lalwani.

We need to punish ourself, Like how we reward ourself when we achieve something. Like how rewarding oneself, makes one get motivated & aligned with the focus/target & rejuvenates one for further activity, punishing oneself corrects him, and tunes him to better standards of self-discipline, accountability & reliability.

Nobody is 100% or perfect. Its a chase towards perfection. Your success in life & rate of climbing up in life is directly proportional to how self-disciplined you are, how soon you get self-disciplined & how long you remain!

Punishment should be something that should not make you complacent & buy away your laziness in return for that punishment. That punishment should mean a shame to you, slap to your self-esteem, slap to your integrity. It should drive you away from it, only then you will achieve your targets in time.

So friends - DO NOT CONVINCE YOURSELF, PUNISH YOURSELF! :):):):):)

This blog is a small dedication to all the people, circumstances, situations & books which became a reason for me to start dreaming big.

Friends, If there is highest state of satisfaction in this one life, then it definitely lies in dreaming & fulfilling your dreams. Hence the bigger you dream, the greater your satisfaction levels. I disagree with people who are of the opinion that dreaming big takes away your peace of mind. I advice them books on mind control. Its just about keeping yourself at peace while your focus is completely on your dream & once you have achieved it, there is immense amount of pleasure that you experience in this imposed life, whose end points are'nt under our control.

I dreamt big, I dream big, & I shall continue to dream big. Big is a relative word I agree. Hence, I also advice you to keep it relative to the size of your dreams of your yesterday. Watch yourself grow every single day & the pleasure is infinite, equivalent & more than watching your own kid grow up. For, in this case you become your own kid:) Hence, you start loving yourself more & more as the days go by.

World looks more beautiful when one loves himself. Hence, once you start dreaming & fulfilling them, you fall in love with yourself. The beauty is to ensure your dreams encompass all arenas of your life, & help you fulfil your purpose at the end of the day. Hence align all your dreams with your purpose eventually & then grow them bigger.

You are doing BUSINESS? OH MY GOD!

In my journey of indulding into promotion of entrepreneurship, helping masses open up their minds to business. I came across lots of people who speak of business as evil. One should study religiously & take up a job. If in between he starts doing a business or even a part time business to add skill sets to his life, & expand possibilities for himself.

The female section of society suffers under this to a greater extent, in most parts of our country. To my surprise its prominent in educated sections of society as well.
I request my readers to think over this & pour in this comments as to what they feel.

I really feel, everyone who is secure (so-called secure)in a job, is secure because someone is into a business, in which he needs the helping hand of this person & hence he or she is employed. If that be the case, business cannot be evil. One should grateful to the term "business", for, that is what creates jobs. You cant be more grateful to the fruit & consider the tree as evil.

I request people to ensure that this education/message is passed on to more & more people to ensure close minded people, considering business as evil & job as divine, to help them open up their mindsets.

This mindset of people is avoiding a lot of potential entrepreneurs from taking birth in our country. Wings of so many youngsters are being chopped of in the fear of they ending up as a failure & they are made to get tunnelled into the thinking of job being the most secure direction for life.

I request that more chances be given to let capable people try venturing into entrepreneurship, at a very young age & they be encouraged. Once a person escalates higher in his age ladder, he seldom has courage to take risk that business involves.

Every one is a born leader. Some people lead more people, some people cant lead themselves. The secret to be able to lead a lot of other people, is to lead yourself every single day into becoming a better individual each day.

Look at the required circumstances in your life & your role in life, work each day towards getting your abilities, qualities, attitudes closer to what your ultimate role in life is going to be. Anything that takes you away from that role/purpose is going to cause pain & is temporary in life. Focus more on permanent joys of life not the temporary ones.

So dear friends, lead yourself really well & you shall inspire every individual who comes in contact with you for even a small fraction of your life. It does not matter whether the person is small or big, achiever or loser, wealthy or poor, master or slave, naive or clever, he will be inspired with you to an extent you cannot imagine.

Lets lead ourselves in the best way possible & we shall lead masses.

Very thin line between Expectation & Belief

They say when you teach once, you have learnt it twice. While talking to one of my associates, I just learnt this lesson twice (:)) while teaching him, that there is a very thin line between Expectation & Belief.

"Whatever you believe in very strongly endlessly, shapes up into reality" - is what the great Law Of Attraction has to say. This has been true. But many people are'nt able to believe in this, for, their beliefs dont turn into reality. According to my experience either the belief was not believed in very strongly, not visualised very strongly or had boubts hidden underneath it. Impure beliefs turn half way around.

Mind is a strong tool for success in life. You need to believe in your dream until it turns into reality. Visualise exactly the way you want it to come true. Work towards it. Many people think adventure is lost this way. No, friends its more adventurous this way. The destination is clear & path is explored totally unkonwn & unexpected. Because when you are believing in the unexpected & an impossible dream, obstacles in the journey are big. When you keep going through that hell, enjoying all challenges you face on the journey, miracles shape up unexpectedly to make things happen.

This is as far as belief is concerned. Expectations only lead to disappointment. Because expectations have deadlines. The thin line between belief & expectation is:
Belief is "It will be this way". Expectation is "It Should be this way by this time".

Expectations lead to disappointment as we all have at one point or the other in our lives have faced.

But the catch here is to go through the hell, the journey of belief turning reality portrays. At one point things might all look like going against you, but thats when the new equilibrium is getting established for your dreams to turn into reality exactly the way you visualised. The process of difficulties is the fight between your future expectations & present circumstances. So turn those expectations into belief & then feel positive about every step on the journey & destination shall be yours.

All the best. Lets believe in our dreams. Dreams are the most beautiful elements of an exciting life. Everything looks beautiful when you have lot of dreams & lot of hope that they will get fulfilled. Everything looks dull as the hope reduces & as you kill your dreams one by one.

May this blog re-instill that hope in you for all your dreams to get fulfilled, turn all your expectations into beliefs, turn down disappointments, instill positivity & hope in you, make your life thouroughly adventurous.

Dreams do come true in the way you envision, provided you stay stuck to them, longer then people believe or can digest that you should stay stuck to that dream. Once you stay stuck to your dream, universe brings you face to face with the right people, aligns perfect circumstances and ensures your dream turns into reality following the principle of "UNDER PROMISE OVER DELIVERY".

I am not talking philosophy, I am talking my experience. It was just last thursday - 29th Of April (which happens to be my Bhabhi's Birthday (birthday of my elder brother's wife(for all my non-indian readers))When i was invited to my college NITK Suratkal to deliver an inspirational cum entrepreneurship talk to students in ATB Seminar Hall of the college. The seminar hall where companies that come for recruitment conduct their Aptitude tests and deliver their presentations.

It was during my college days that I never sat for placements, for my stern belief in myself that I shall take on entrepreneurship in my life. I was advised by a number of friends of mine to take up placements, atleast for the sake of it. I kept telling myself then, a day will come when i will come & deliver presentations of my company over here for recruitment & people will sit to listen, I will come to deliver inspirational & entrepreneurship talks here. I will be the only alumni to get invited as the youngest alumni ever invited back to college to deliver a talk.

It just happened - Right people - Thanks to Rheana John & Akhila. These two gave their heart, mind & soul into making this a reality. Circumstances - My Mangalore(a place in coastal karnataka) trip around the same time. Enough achievments of mine - One young world delegate, lions club awardee etc. before this date. And eventually the dream materialises. Thanks to Gaurav Shetty - a friend of mine from KSHEMA College in Mangalore pursuing his MBBS, who made this whole journey to NITK from Mangalore look like a cake walk, thanks to his Maruti Suzuki Esteem & the well functioning AC of his car.

I step into the college, everything looks the same, the main building, classrooms etc, but the air was really different. It carried a different feeling. It carried a touch which was embracing me as an achiever and bestowing pride in me. It was carrying those unspoken words which I spoken to myself, sitting outside the hostel gate on the steps, that I would soon come to this college to deliver talks. Department teachers, Director Students etc would know me. You alone never can make things happen. I shall owe a lot to Rheana & Akhila for helping this vision turn reality.

The Talk went on as expected, I had this feeling deep down during all 4 years when i studied at NITK, that it can be a collection of world class individuals if students could adopt a few world class attitudes. I never had the authority to convey this then. But glad I could make a difference to few lives out of over 200+ students present in the hall.

I were a true definition for a winner & my feelings could define winning at the moment I completed my talk.

I just request my readers through this blog not to hesitate to dream the wildest dreams, sometimes even practically impossible, For, they do come true & they are the ones that carry a feeling only a few men experience. A feeling of esctacy, a feeling of having climbed Mt.Everest, A feeling of landing on the moon - A feeling so priceless.

Dont let your dreams die out of fears that the world sets in or the parameters the world decides. Explore within yourself, there is a vast potential that lies, yet to unleash which has the power to help accomplish your dream. If the dream could take birth inside you, it simply means you also have required resource inside you.

Since childhood till death, today man is in a continuous chase to plan his next move, decide which field to step into, what career to take up, what should he represent in this world, what should he/she be known for. I am one in this pursuit as well.

What I realised, as I stand today, having spent close to 23 years of my life, is that, when you go deep into this aspect of life, have a broader look at it, there are 4-types of people, as Robert. T. Kiyosaki mentions in his books. People belonging to E,S,B or I quadrants.

E - employees.
S - Self employed.
B - Business owners.
I - Investors.

But there are innumerous branches to these four today. Gone are the days, when there used to be well-defined terms and paths for an individual for surviving and coming out as a winner. Entrepreneurship has re-defined everything.

Engineers, doctors, scientists alone were the need of the times of industrial revolution. Its not that the need for these experts has reduced. But automation is the word for the day, machines are being built which are reducing the man-power required. This is reducing the number of jobs available. I agree that number of companies coming up is also increasing, number of new sectors opening up are also increasing, hence the diversity of jobs is increasing. But the irony is, the pace of the latter is slower compared to the number of people graduating today. Millions of graduates every year but not millions of vacancies.

My realisation tells me that the world has hyped up the amount of recognition that goes to engineers, doctors, CAs etc. that the rest are suffering at the hands of making attempts to become the same, when their real talent lies somewhere else sometimes. I urge my friends to re-think their career options. New talent for the world would come into light.

Options are just multiplying today, but irony is people are not giving a thought to it. There is a mad race for the set up career options. Thinking out of the box is the demand for the day.

Entrepreneurship looks like one major ray of hope for all the people looking forward for a change, or are under-capable for the expertise for jobs available, or for people who have big dreams and willing to take risk. Jumping into the service sector to chase your way up the ladder of success is not a bad option as you can accumulate enough knowledge, skills and capital to do something on your own while you pursue a part-time in the service sector.

The career options are really increasing, Careers in teaching, singing, dancing, art & craft etc. network marketing industry is giving options, Hobbies turning into profession, food industry, restaurants, Unique hang outs etc, teaching of soft skils, specialised institutions for it etc. The best part of being a coach in any of these directions is something that gives a flexibility to you to do it part-time. You can 'write' in your part-time and get paid for it. There are innumerous magazines, news-papers etc, they need writers. Start for free and then once you are quite popular you can always charge.

One of my part-time careers is inspirational speaking, I write, I counsel people, I offer consultancy for business ideas etc. All this as my hobby and part-time right now. All these directions have the capacity to get me paid & there is immense satisfaction in all these directions as I serve a lot of people here. I am into network marketing as well (part-time/full-time as per my necessity). Which is a strong base for my finances right now.

I just want to convey to my readers, that you in your free time can do loads if you know what you are strong at and start nurturing it and one day you might own an enterprise which employs a lot of people who do the same. Dance schools, soft-skills schools, english coaching institutes, Singing schools, calligraphy classes, cooking classes, art and craft classes, art galleries, etc are all innovations which can be explored in your part-time. Meanwhile you can nurture your knowledge, skills and attitudes and generate a capital for something you want to stand for in the coming tomorrow.

These were the thoughts on my mind. I am sure this blog would have given you direction to think in this direction for yourself, or for your relatives, or for your friends. It will surely be of help and we are creative enough to come up with solutions if someone can orient us. This blog is meant as an orientation.

1. 24 hours are too much if they are split into minutes and seconds and each interval is taken care of individually.

2. The real taste of adventure in life, is to explore a path with more unknowns & less equations. For, that is when life will have infinite solutions.

3. GO OUT! BREAK THE RULES... Taste glory & create a story!

4. Doing something really big at a young age is marvellous, for, only that can make you realise - "rules are meant to be broken!"

5. SELF EVALUATION - If you are not criticised & everybody around you is satisfied with you, you can be sure of being on the wrong path. CHANGE DIRECTION!

6. Last but not the least - "All the world loves a lover". Love everyone. The easiest way to get loved is give love.

Look back into the past - all these little angels and occasions are those dots, which when connected, within the limits of an optimistically practical frame of mind, have the power to extrapolate into a future that will turn out to be the benediction in its most chastise form, that universe bestows on your dreams. This line, formed by connecting all the dots, is always the detour, that life takes when you ask for something and dont know the route - This route, is what, I call the SILVER LINING.

Power of Belief!

I know, I am not the first one to write about this. Rhonda byrne's "The Secret" will tell you more about this topic. But then, I just felt like putting up my thoughts on this. This article is definitely more, than merely a testimonial to "the secret".

In the recent journey of mine, everything in my life has just come true the way I exactly believed it should for me and for many of my ebiz colleagues and all other people whom I know, who truly believe in this power of belief.

In this case I would love to just say, let your belief be completely pure in whatever you want in your life. Visualise it exactly the way you want it, innumerous times. Feel the feeling deep within, how it would feel once the belief turned reality. Why most people do not achieve their beliefs or what they visualise is because once something that practically seems impossible is visualised, the very next moment, our mind is preoccupied with thoughts which are trying to sketch the route ot the destination imagined. If you try to plan the step by step journey to where you want to reach or what you want to achieve, then you would end up accomplishing what you are already capable of and you deny the universe from doing the planning for you.

To justify the above paragraph just think of this person from a small town who dreamt of being the president of the country but when asked "How?", just said "I dont know!". He moved ahead in life with enough zeal and enthu in whatever he did. Once he looked back at his life after he turned the president of the country, he had no way to explain practically everything that happened.

He narrated those innumerous co-incidences that took place all along, right from childhood till his winning the elections. Those competitions in school where he had to participate in debates and only those people stood for it, compared to whom he was better off, these served as moral boosters. Only on those days co-incidentally he found on many an occasion, that those better off than him, were absent, that staying up late at school and that very meeting with chairman of his university just when he had for the first time topped his class ever in his journey of schooling, that getting impressed of the chairman at that instant, that offering of sholarship for further education, that travelling in the train, that co-incidence of sharing the compartment with a senior politician, that getting impressed of his for him being a student of such an elite college, though hailing from a poor background.

He remembers the co-incidence, of health going down of the university president for students' union, on the annual day and that pushing down of the opportunity of addressing the university crowd of over 20,000 people amidst the chief guests of elite status and varied political background on him, that falling of easy questions in the next days exam only from the syllabus he happend to prepare for, that getting impressed of all the circle around him and publishing his name in students magazine, that increase of fame, those invitations for guest lectures in various under-grad schools for being student of such elite performance and high extra-curricular record, that clicking of one opportunity after another for various talks around the country.

As he recalls further, that missing of the last bus back home and only way to return home being the option of taking a lift, that getting of a lift in the car of an individual who was looking for a great speaker with firm credentials to promote his party for next elections in return for a good payment, that co-incidence of his desire to earn money to help his mom recover out of the cancer treatment she was going through which made him accept the proposal, that co-incidental victory of the party he promoted which made the winning party offer him more than money - a seat in assembly, the co-incidental meeting of an upcoming author at a book store who aspired to co-author a book with this person, as the aspiring author had heard a lot of his speeches, that getting famous of that book, bringing him country wide glory and huge response from the crowd and what followed later is something you and I can only imagine. A series of more co-incidences leading him to the post of president.

As he looked behind, everything in his life looked perfectly planned, but he wasnt the one who planned. This is where the universe played its role. But, he acted with passion and commitment at every step with a very high belief of being the president of the country one day.

The above paragraph, I must say, definitely sounds like a fairy tale, for, my understanding of power of belief stands clear and confirms, that every belief thats practically impossible goes through a series of, otherwise never expected, incidents which sums up the journey to real success, as a fairy tale.

I just want to conclude that there is eternal power in power of belief, which makes the universe take the burden of planning things for you. Just ensure you know your passion and follow it completely and engage in relentless pursuit of it with complete honesty and integrity, the universe will take care of the rest.

"For, the universe has many a fairy tales written already and is engaged in a relentless search of characters for its tales, you could be the next. You have to BELIEVE IT!"

In times of despair, with the dreams burning in the eyes, with efforts on the field going futile one after another, the only adage that keeps ringing in the ears, that gives the fighter some solace and patience to keep himself focussed, is - "When the going gets tough, the tough get going".

Every business is filled with ups and downs. The phase which takes your business down, is always the one that will end up as filteration process for your business. It filters your team that performs from the team that doesnt, strategies that work from strategies that do not, sectors which generate cash from those that need to be shut down etc. Its this phase which takes you to higher levels of performance and elegance, higher levels of responsibility and intellect, higher levels of business acumen and PR abilities. It fine tunes you for the next growth phase of your business.

But can everybody go through this phase. In two cases you can. Either 'you' are a "tough individual" or you are working with a "tough individual". (hence the adage holds true).

Then the question arises - Who is a "tough individual"? He can be defined as "An individual with the ability to envision, chalk out a step by step action plan, take wise decisions and stand by them until visions turn reality and smooth road arrives again. A person who can keep the entire team motivated even when the business is running under loss, yet every team player feels, that paychecks are just pouring without breaks. Just that they are'nt reaching home, but they soon will." ('they' refers to paychecks)

These Tough Individuals are a benediction in disguise for all the people working with them, who believe in the ray of hope that the Tough Individuals have to offer. Once the things get going and smooth roads arrive, the team would have learnt the qualities of patience, hard work, being passionate about work & not fretting over results and ultimately would have become the so called "Tough Individuals" themselves. Hence, any further tough phases can be handled by this new breed of Tough Individuals.

The tough individuals, actually through their strong self motivation, diligence, innovations crack through the route map to smoother roads and make it easier for all the rest of them to drive through to success.

Thats why, I believe in the extension of the primitive adage and say "When going gets tough, the tough get going. Once the tough get going, for the rest, the going gets easier."

Readers must be wondering that this has application only in business not in other arenas of life. My dear friends, its equally applicable everywhere else. Just that the followers in this case are your friends, family, relatives and you yourself. You just get tougher and tougher with each such passing phase and your example and accomplishment makes life much easier for the rest around you.

So, Are you a tough individual? If yes, great going. If no, attach yourself with one :-)

(Note: This article is from my real life experience. Trust me, I have become much tougher than I was, in every arena of my life.)

Time just ticks by. tick! tick! tick! tick!

The adage "time and tide wait for none" used to sound so simple to memorise and score that 1 mark in my childhood. I never understood why they valued this adage and made us memorise it, when it was so simple.

Today at this point of my life, when I see myself loaded with loads of visions and dreams in my eyes, I see that, I have kept targets lined up for me at different age points of my life, its then I find myself running short of time for the amount of things I need to accomplish. Everytime a second goesby, it sends back a realisation to me - that, I need to express gratitude to my school teachers, for, they made me memorise an invaluable adage.

The amount of time we have is limited. None of our days will expand beyond 24 hours. Even if life expectancy assumed, is 70 yrs. 70*365*24 hours=6,13,200 hours totally, is what you get. On an average if a man sleeps for 6 hours a day and needs 2 hours for his daily habits 4,04,300 hours are the productive hours left in hand.

So Just ask yourself how many have you spent already from this bank balance of yours and how much is remaining in your balance. Please make sure you spend this very carefully and purchase assets in life than spending it on liabilities.

Trust me my dear frinds, we all make choices. Its a personal choice to either cut down on our dreams and take time off to relax and spend a lot of it on liesure and entertainment, (the one that offers temporary joy) or make a wise choice to spend in a wise way on steps towards your goals and dreams. When you enjoy the steps towards your dreams and goals so much, that they become entertaining and keep you on toes 24/7, then you deserve to spend hours on leisure and entertainment. Its a choice we make. Most of the people say they didnt have enough time for doing big things. (I tend to disagree with them)

It was a fine morning, The only difference to any other morning of my life, I figured out about this one was that – it started early. I saw the time on my wall clock in the room, which I had not seen for ages now – 5:45 am. If not for the purpose of receiving my grandmom at the railway station I would have continued the legacy of not seeing this orientation of the hands of my wall clock. My grandmom returned after a tour to rajasthan (North India), where she had been for the opening ceremony of a Temple.

They say when a person’s wisdom augments, his perception about things goes deeper. Something we have already seen a thousand times, starts looking new to the eyes. So was the case with the scene of the people jostling at the railway station ticket counters. The sight of this scene earlier made me feel pity for the people who had to wait for hours together so early in the morning to get their tickets, and we all know, waiting for that long in a queue is definitely frustrating.

But this time, I was astonished at myself, I did not feel the same. The pity was no longer for the reason that waiting is frustrating. Instead, my inner self was feeling pity for another reason and telling me – “How ignorant these people are!”

Man makes machines, invents gadgets and reaches newer heights in technology, to make things better and easier for the mankind for a collective progress of it. Amongst such innovations and inventions of the 20th century – Internet has been the most dramatic invention to hit the world. Its impact is exponentially increasing as years are passing by.

Coming back to my feeling, Today Indian Railways has made commendable efforts in launching a number of quality railway reservation websites, which are extremely userfriendly to any and every individual.

These sites make it easy for all travelers to book tickets at the nearest cyber café – avoiding his running around in heavy traffic in cities today, alongwith avoiding the loss of time that they would have to go through, waiting in long queues.

But to me it looked that people had lots of time and needed places like these railway station ticket counter queues to kill it. Right? It ain’t like that. Hundreds of them queued up there early in the morning, when majority of them could have done away with online booking (assuming that they had credit cards, or atleast they could have increased the business of few credit card offering companies). But fear of unawareness or feeling embarrassed to have to ask about online booking, seems to surround them for which the price they pay is hours of time in a queue.

This was one of the stations of our country. There are 1000s of them in our country. Assuming such crowded ones are exactly 1000 in number in our country, and 1000 such people lose atleast an hour there everyday (though actual figures might be much bigger), Our country loses a million productive hours per day. I call them productive hours because its generally people who are beyond 18 found at the counters. If each of them had used the alternative method of online booking, They could have done away with a maximum of 10 mins each. Meaning a saving of 0.8 million productive hours per day for the country.

Since this is the smallest number assumed. If we actually extrapolate it over all the stations in the country – we can literally save millions of productive hours of the country, which can be invested in various other productive things – which surely would help the country progress.

This is just one field of observation. There are many things that can happen sitting at home through internet for which people lose hours together in all age groups. Its been long time since I blogged. This gap actually created a gap on my mind, when i was trying to type down a nice worthy title for this one. When I could not hit upon anything creative, I just decided to keep the title - "MISCELLANEOUS" and a whole new article followed.

There is a very profound lesson behind what I just mentioned above. The same happens with us in our careers and to many on the path to success(be it in any field). When we are not in touch, with the work we are supposed to carry out, we lose the swiftness of performance, which slowly makes us even more sluggish, which leads to greater loss of flow of our activity(activity with respect to the career each of us have), which leads to a loss of self-confidence and thereby leading to greater inactivity levels and finally leading to defeat/failure/ceasure/downfall/dead-end.

The only solution to this continuing chain reaction which leads from one lead to another, is one "Miscellaneous" link, which is activity in real terms. Do something, but kick start your activity in the direction you were heading. It cannot start from the place where you left, but a miscellaneous beginning will lead to increased enthusiasm leading to greater excitement, leading to structuring of your thoughts, which leads to planned action finally leading to victory/destination/success/smooth-journey towards your goals.

Hence this blog is just a start point for my further blogs to pour in.

It was a fine evening after a good days work, when I decided to spend sometime building my dreams list, So had been to UB City. A truly Royal Construction for truly Royal People. The place is just too royal. All credits to the architects and big dreamer behind this - "THE VIJAY MALLYA - The king of good times:-)."

The entrance will leave you spellbound. The lighting at this place inside is complete mix of mild yellow, light orange, cream & Magenta. The bright yellow glow on the wall, fading into dull orange is simply something, that leaves your subconscious mind into a state of total bliss. Its an experience that will leave your neurons excited for days, for you will have to recall the visit over and over again to narrate it to others.

But beyond this beauty was an observation. The top floor of this place is an exuberant place with brilliance and beauty spilled over scenic beauty, that it has got to offer to the visitors. The place is an open place facing tall (tall for bangalore heights of buildings) skyline of bangalore. The place also faces one part of its structure, which is the central building of this UB City.

The observation taught a lesson which has left me pondering for 24 hours already and am yet pondering. The building had a wall - really tall one - the bottom end of it had a light being projected on it at an angle. It was light cement colored wall, but the light being projected was light blue in shade. There were other walls parallel to it, which were of same original wall color. The observation was simple, the colored wall added all the beauty to the building. The walls were of simple cement color, but the light on the wall projected at the right angle gave a brilliant look to it, which made it carry an elegance that would attract the attention of any individual who looked at it, and leave him pleased.

What I learnt are the lessons which follow :

1. A simple dull colored wall is something that pleases none, but when a small light bulb even at the bottom end of it, throws light at the right angle and color, gives it a pleasing look. Hence our life is dull or beautiful by the way we throw light on our past collection of memories (imagine present and birth being two end points of the straight line called past. If you throw light form present to the past - highest intensity will be at recent past and least as you go behind in the past.) If you throw light at the right angle and of right color on your past, your life lived, will become extremely pleasing to anyone, who gets to learn about.

Every individual can write the bestseller autobiography, provided he throws light of right color at right angle, recalls the best memories, the lessons of life and people who made a difference. One more thing I could learn was - Life would seem dull to live further if you dont make an effort to light it up well, is what the other parallel walls taught me.

2. <In marketing - Product is not the only reason why the customer would buy or not (for nobody tries to manufacture and sell a bad product), Its how you throw light at your product and carry forward your presentation and light up your product with right colored light that matters to get you the sale. If you throw light on the benefits of your product well, and list all the reasons why the customer would enjoy possessing your product, he would sure not think twice shelling out all the money required for your product without feeling a hole in his pocket. It would add to your efforts of lighting up your presentation, if you just ensure that the light you project is of the color, that is most pleasing to your customer's eye. You need'nt be a mind reader for this, a few good questions to understand your guest(customer) would serve a great deal.

I am still pondering for scratching out more lessons. But one more lesson i learnt is you dont need books to teach you really big lessons in life, You just need to be a great observer and have an urge to learn. You have lessons all around you.

For, a mountain is a hurdle for someone, its the way to reach the top for others.

It was not just another evening, for it proved to carry a big lesson for me to learn. At the onset it was just another evening of my life, where I was with my associates training them about progressing and being able to create huge networks for themselves, busy training them about closing sales, about becoming better presentors, mentoring them to become better leaders etc. while it struck to me the most important aspect that encompassed all the training that I delivered was "RELATIONSHIPS".

Relationships is a huge chapter, hence to cover something that can give you the best insight into what I learnt would be difficult to compile in a few short paragraphs. But I shall give my best to compile the juice with a possible few dos and donts of relationships.

The glue that bonds a huge organisation intact is relationships. Relationships at work are as imporatant and life changing as relationships at home. They say a chain is as strong as its weakest link likewise an organisation is as strong as its weakest relationship. It starts breaking from there.

The biggest enemy to the best relationships is EGO. Its more often than less that I have come across in my network where the ego between a couple of leaders has been the reason for an Upcoming Misunderstanding, which results in a communication gap. The communication gap works under the principle of assumptions, where both parties start assuming the other person's state of mind, and start concluding things which are totally based on those assumptions, only to one day realise that they were wrong and they had themselves caused damage to their organisations as leaders.

Hence, one most important thing to remember is one has to surrender his ego for the matter to get solved. A couple of minutes talk might make you look foolish, atleast it helps you avoid being foolish for a lifetime.

EGO --> Communication Gap --> Faulty assumptions --> greater Communication gap -->
Arguements instead of discussions --> Growth of EGO --> Broken Relationship.

This applies to the relationships in your love life as much they apply in organisations/business. They matter a lot for smooth functioning of organisations, help in building great momentum for the business, the stronger the relationships and understanding in the organisation the greater the momentum it can sustain.

So dear readers, all the people with whom you are feeling an ego clash, Its time to go and flush out all the misunderstandings between and make the beginning for a great relationship once again. Let us be the first one to surrender. Unconditional love has its first symptom - "surrendering of ego".

Remember nothing is lost, by surrendering your ego, but lot can be gained from it.

Many of us have come a step ahead of those others, who would go on to, for sure, become the 9-5 hardworking stars. We have come one step ahead of the people, who have decided that they will never become entrepreneurs/employers/financially free (can you imagine? But, Yes! thats true:D). We have come one step ahead, right with the decision, that for most things, that we encounter, we dont keep ourselves with a lazy mindset, instead we have learnt to take things in an energetic & an enthusiastic way and always say "I WILL DO IT."

But my dear friends, the next step, of actually doing it, is the most important one. I know thoughts manifest into actions. But sometimes, thoughts are followed by anti-thoughts, which are large in number and greater in strength pushing down the decided action. The anti-thoughts are comfort-zone lovers and lovers of relaxed state of body. They would want you cut down on your miles, forget extra-miles.

Hence the strongest fight/challenge, is to fight these anti-thoughts (the ones opposite to the main hard-core positive thoughts of ours for a particular action). The challenge is to come out of the comfort zone, face the heat and make things happen. Most often we surrender looking at the amount of extra miles we may need to walk, though we clearly know the purpose and the end result. Its then we need to reinforce our purpose, our mission statement, a million times in us, give ourself an extra dose of motivation, and not let these anti-thoughts take birth or multiply.

Go ahead friends, fight with yourself, come out of your comfort zones, and do the things which you always wanted to, but couldnt fight the laziness inside you. Go ahead! Its high time you did it! JUST DO IT! (NIKE will surely love this article :D)

Being a Sales professional is a reason to be proud of, for you are talented in something, which the entire world needs to be talented in. You might be the greatest scientist, but if you fail to put forth your theory in a convincing way, you are going to lose out on your probably deserved noble prize. You might be having the greatest business idea & you are truly an aspiring entrepreneur, If you cannot convince the Venture Capitalists, They may just end not buying your idea. You might be the best suited individual, for a job profile, but you have a bad news coming your way, if you just cannot convince the interviewer (sell yourself successfully).

My dear readers, Being a Sales pro is the foundation quality for an entrepreneur. Every great entrepreneur is a great Salesperson, then a great leader, then a great visionary and so on.

I still remember the time almost 4 years ago, when I made my 2nd business presentation, and my friend's mom uttered "You look like a salesman"(sarcastically).
As any other normal individual I was a little shaken in my motivation to continue promoting my product, just when my leaders helped me realise this lesson which I have just shared with you. As a matter of fact, Shah Rukh promotes a lot of brands, including pepsi, Its as good as saying Shahrukh is a salesman for Pepsi. Instead we refer to it as: "Shahrukh is the brand ambassador for Pepsi". Thats it! this example/this realisation was enough for me to understand that I was being the brand ambassador for my product/company. And that belief has today turned into reality.

Travellology is one of my favourite subjects & Travelling is one of my favourite activity. Be it for business or for purpose of fun or any manner of growth travelling is something inevitable. A person sitting at one place can never acquire success which can touch every corner of the world. Be it Bill Gates, Lakshmi Mittal, Larry page, Owner of Twitter, Richard Branson, Mohit Sardana ji, or any successful individual/entrepreneur you can think of who is becoming world renowned, is surely a person with great rich travel experience.

There are only two criteria which enhance your wisdom and perceptions in life, Meeting more people & travelling more places. People & Places are two parameters for growth and increasing your wisdom. More the number of people you meet and larger the number of places you travel - Wiser you become for your further progress in life, greater the expansion and strength of your business.

I realise this after a little travel that I have done in my life in my country - INDIA. I have been to large number of cities/towns in the country. Since India is a land of diversity, & changes every 100 km, Travelling to a large number of cities is like internaitonal travelling exposure. This travel experience has truly enhanced my way of living, the way I look at life, the way I understand people & the way I look at business.

These are a few qualities for a leader to possess, if he/she wants to be a quality leader. Leadership is all about leading your team to greater heights, which happens by elevating yourself to heights.

Most leaders are bothered by this question, am I leading well. Mentors are surely the greatest help we could have got to solve this question for ourselves. But self-evaluation is as important as having a mentor. The Following is list of qualities which will help you evaluate yourself. Mark yourself monthly/biweekly against each of these qualities (out of 10). This system would help you if you ensure you are honest to yourself. It will orient your self-analysis and give it a foundation.

The following article also contains a slight hint on acquiring these qualities. Its against "Howto:" under each quality.

Qualities a leader must possess :

1. Analytical- A great leader, must have great analytical skills. He must be able to anticipate outcomes, analyse the problems, offer different strokes for different folks. What misses the eye of most is caught by a great leader.
Howto: To develop this just spend a little more time understanding things, than jumping to conclusions too quickly. Also ensure you keep solving some puzzles. That keeps your brain cells active.

2. Self-driven - A great leader leads himself. Does not need a motivator always. He knows his purpose clear and can walk as many extra miles, to achieve it.
Howto: To be self driven, Your purpose needs to clear and you need to reinforce in yourself, infinite number of times.

3. Aggression - A great leader does not always pamper his team. He knows "spare the rod, and spoil the child". But over aggression is also harmful. You need to strike a balance.
Howto: Anything that you can pretend for first 30 days, becomes your habit. If you have never been aggresive before, observe successful people who possess aggression. (It needs to be used only when required)

4. Assertiveness - A great leader is assertive in his communication.
Howto:Know your points clearly. Know your objectives clearly. Be honest. If you do these you will automatically be assertive.

5. Domineering - A great leader knows how to get things done from his team.
Howto: Its important that a leader commands respect for his commands. Never demand. You need to be domineering if you need to push your team out of comfort zone.

6. Self-Confident - Confident about his strengths and ideas.
Howto: This comes with clarity about what you sell. Know your product and the benefits of the product without slightest of ambiguity. Also understand your target market clearly.

7. Outspoken - A great leader should not be reserved. Reserved people make no leaders.

Most of us are in business or work or we are students, where many a times we need to repeatedly do the same stuff over and over again. For entrepreneurs, its even more challenging, since its their own idea, hence they would need to promote that repeatedly. One gets bored if he is doing the same thing over and over again. But its, how you look at things that matters. An entrepreneur ensures that he makes the same thing, that he is doing over and over again, more interesting each time, by introducing a small change in the process, noticeable or not to the viewer, but he feels it sub-consciously.

A change is always necessary. It always will spice up things in life. Give some food to your creativity cells, and let them team up and give you creative ideas for some change in life. It definitely will spice up your life, which eventually will be a big inspiration in itself, for you are excited and energetic, and hence you would have a great efficiency at whatever you do.

Something that you think will spice up your life, might sound silly to somebody else, do not care about that, question is, does it leave you fired up? I give my business presentations every now and then. It would not be fun if i were not to introduce some change every now and then. Look at the factors that can actually be changed and you will be surprised to see the numbe of permutations and combinations that can come out of it. Hence meaning a lot of ways to spice up your life.

Life does not change, we need to change our way of living it!

My dear Fellow Indians, This one is especially for you! Do spare a few minutes to read. If you do not have them now, Spare them Later. Do not ignore. This article may not enlighten you, but will awaken you for sure. If you are prepared, READ ON!

The time is ticking in the direction, it started long ago. India got its independence long ago, about 60 years ago, in 1947. Ever since then lots of things have changed in our country. Only thing that has not changed is the status of the country - It is still 'developing'. My father got his one mark and i got mine for answering this fill in the blank - "India is _______ Country". I just hope when my son/daughter writes - "developing", they lose their one mark. A father wanting his kids to lose marks? I wish this came true. Would be the wish of all of us reading this article right now :-)

Internet started about 20 years ago, it celebrated its 20th birthday on 13th Of March this year. Computers came into existence about a few decades ago. America/japan or other developed countries are at peaks in using computers and technology for their progress. India truly lacks that.

My dear friends, Just try picturing this on your mind, When one fellow indian 'A' of our country is talking about tweeting/blogging/cloud computing etc. The other fellow indian 'B' does not even know what a computer is. The irony of the situation is 'B' form about 93.88% of our country's population. If you visit any developed country - they talk about more than 60-70% computer literacy in their countries. With understanding of computers comes understanding of internet along with which comes speed of communication, which ultimately brings along speed in business and hence a quick progressing economy.

The technology is growing at a pace, that in few years from now, it would be difficult for the computer aware (not greatly aware) people itself to catch up with the progress, Imagine our fellow indian, then, just getting to know about computers. Millions of Fashions would have come and gone on the internet, and exactly when our fellow indian would be feeling like an alien and out of place with all these things.

If each of us make an effort to teach others unaware about it, through platforms, then we can make a differnce to the nation's computer literacy rate. If the gap between A & B, is not bridged up in the next five years, It will be a near to impossible task to push the country to greater heights, for advancement of technology and progress of internet are faster than speed of light right now. It already requires drastic steps to push the computer literacy higher.

Come friends lets make the coming india a better place for our further generations and teach/make aware as many people as we can about computers and internet in whatever liesure time we have. If not the dynamics of the entire world, atleast for sure the dynamics of the way entrepreneurs look at the world has taken a new dimension. Twitter has connected the entrepreneurs directly to the people who actually love them. Ego Kills Love! Lets kill the EGO before it kills Love...!!!

A masterpiece story I came across, For those of you, who have already read this one, I am sure you will agree with me, that its worth reinforcing a thousand times. Its the story about the hypothetical island that existed, which was home for all different feelings that exist on the face of the earth today. Let me start in a classical story telling way "Once upon a time....

Once upon a time..., there was an island called FEELINGS ISLAND, which was home to all types of feelings. Joy, Love, Ego, care, Shame, Hatred, Magnanimity, generosity, kindness, shyness, audacity, disgust, frustration, jealousy, atheism etc. All the feelings we can think of. Now, staying together on the same island, they had a great time with each other. Each feeling played its role in a indefatigably glib manner, never drifting from its own role.

It was just another pleasant morning sunrise, that this island saw, when 'jealousy' was the first one to get ready, as it is jealous of everybody else, so wants to be first at everything. 'Care' was taking care of everything and everybody. 'Love' was loving everybody and spreading smiles. 'Hatred' was absuing everybody and hating everybody for unique reasons. 'Ego' was sitting in one corner not mingling with anybody, was in its own world, for it felt it was better than everybody else. Activity was normal as everyday, Until 'panic' alarmed everybody by jumping around the entire island, and screaming - "Tsunami" " Tsunami" ... !!!

Love and Care took notice of this and immediately arranged for boats to travel to the next island. They sent everybody on them. Jealousy was the first one to get in, while hatred was still hating this happening. But things went on, everybody was busy saving their lives, While love and care were sending everybody.

What nobody took notice, but 'love' did take notice, was someone, sitting in one corner, not sitting into any of the boats. 'Love' reached out to him, to see who he was, it was 'EGO'. 'Love' said, "my dear friend come with me, else you will die here." After all, it was 'ego'. It kept refusing, while love kept forcing him to come along. 'Ego' kept rejecting.

'Care' tied the boat to the shore, waiting for these two to come. Unfortunately, 'careless' was on the same boat, it broke the string, that tied the boat to the shore. 'Love' did not get scared, it still loved careless, while it kept forcing the 'ego' to still come along.

The last boat left from there, Tsunami arrived, taking away the two lives on the Island.

MORAL OF THE STORY: "EGO" always drowns, but dont forget it takes LOVE alongwith it. Wherever 'EGO' exists Love always gets killed.

So my dear friends, lets submerge our ego, as far as possible and start enjoying a much better life. For, ego kills love alongwith itself. Every relation starts looking more beautiful, when EGO gets eliminated. Lets make efforts to kill that element in us.

"Making mistakes is not a crime." Many people project making mistakes as a crime. There is difference between crime and mistake. An unintentional doing which yields wrong results than expected is called a Mistake. While people confuse it for a intentional doing and build guilt over it. Crime is against laws & in most cases an intended action. An unintended crime is still a crime, but out of a mistake.

"Do not build guilt from your mistakes, build your foundations" - sujit lalwani. Probably one of my favourite quotes. Every mistake has a lesson to learn, of how not to do something. It is feedback system of the universe to teach us lessons, make a error correction inside us, and get us closer and closer to the unattainable perfection.

Most of us either ignore/deny the mistake or blame the mistake on somebody/something else. This is the mistake we do with the mistake. The roots of this action of ours are in our childhood. When being right always was what we learnt. This lesson of being right always is totally against real life, and can lead to the three mistakes we do with the mistake. We are always told to answer the questions rightly, do the right things and least allowed to experiment. Hence the effort to be right always, and hence the fear of trying new things and the result is few entrepreneurs in the world.

Wisdom tip #2 : Learn How to Say 'No'. But don't become a 'NO'MAN!

Its extremely important to learn to say 'NO'. Most of us give consent to innumerous things in our day to day life, in professional front or on personal front, though deep down we would want to disagree strongly. Its always better to understand that a straight No is less painful than a dry yes. Most of us are caught being unproductive on professional front or less enthusiastic on the personal front, in many things we do, for, when the consent is surfacial and deep inside there is "NO".

Hence in simple words : "Don't say yes, when you want to say "NO"". The statement in quotes is also the name of the famous book by Herbert Fensterheim. Hence this blog may only contain the summary of what wisdom that book has in store.

But taking this tip to extremes would prove to be harmful. Nobdoy loves a NOMAN. hence if you are always having a NO for everything or if thats the first thing flowing out or a dry yes is always something that you have put forth, your admirers may be nil, at the same time, people who would'nt want you around, may be high. Its great to be a YESMAN in a team. But, do not forget when you are under real contraints, where it is impossible for you to agree, follow the thumbrule : "Dont say YES when you want to say NO".

Let either, come after a good thought process. Intelligence and presence of mind always take sometime before they give their opinion through your mouth. So give them their share of time, and let them do the job for you.

Most people end up in problems and getting locked up with things, which they are not passionate about, or they lose their time at unproductive things, because they could not slip in a NO at the right time.

So, dear friends saying "NO" is not a crime, though being a NOMAN is one. So ensure you avoid deadlocks in your life, getting stuck in unproductive things, by just saying NO to them.

The connectivity has not happened. It has happened beyond imaginations.

THE VISCIOUS CIRCLE OF LIFE.

Folks this blog is for those who fall in love and are hurt feeling that they have lost their love in this life.

I met a friend of mine, she told me she was at a stand point in her life where she had to choose between her love and her parents. Meaning she had to surrender to her parents to get herself an arranged marriage. The irony of the indian traditional societal daughter or a son is that they fall in love, without feeling the boundaries of societies, but when the time comes where the crucial decision needs to be made, most of them surrender in front of the blackmailing talks of family members and relatives about their reputation if the marriage were to be intercaste.

And in some cases it is still a hit on the reputation even if its a love marriage, depending on the constraints of the society. The child is not happy marrying the person who is selected for him/her, which is at the compromise of his/her love, and person who gets wed with him/her, is also not happy as he/she is always knowing tht his/her partner (the one who lost his/her love) is always looking for the old partner in the new face.

Eventually after a spell of a few years the person gets convinced that you dont always get what you want out life and you need to love what you get - and that becomes the thumbrule. For some, thumbrules are not formed and they continue to live in the agony of loss of love...

Some of them elope and thats considered a sin. If the marriage was allowed which would have only yielded a happy couple, while the families could be adjusting with each other, it would have made so many things simpler. This simple solution is thought over a million times and rejected to yield a whole new world of impossiblites for the ones who fell in love. The fight then begins.

These individuals who would have fallen prey to this societal constraints decide to ensure that their kids wont to have go through the trauma. While they realise when eventually the time comes for the marriage of their kids, they would have also got so woven into the cloth of the socitey that they are ones who impose conditions again. The circle hence repeats again..

This is what i describe as THE VISCIOUS CIRCLE OF LIFE.

Someone somewhere in this tree needs to initiate a route out of this circle to ensure a whole new dimension gets added to the way the tree then grows.

Everything is good or bad, noble or sin according to who you ask. What is one's passion, is hated by somebody else. What one pursues someone else persecutes. The person who becomes the most succesful and remains the happiest, is the one, who learns to regulate his ideas, and follows his heart. The person who pursues his passion to the fullest always takes the throne of success.

Disappointment should be miles away, even if an idea is rejected by a few, for you can be sure about the presence of those few others who will love your idea, and appreciate it. Someone's rejection should not put us down, neither should someone's praise push us on the ninth cloud, for we should know there are others who'll condemn. We should always learn never to be moved by a few opinions.

The challenge that should drive us, should be to win the appreciations of the experts in the field we are pursuing our ideas in. It is their opinion which should help us mentor ourselves. Anyone else is just going to increase your track record of either "acceptors" (A) or "rejectors" (R).

So remember friends if 50 tell you - "you are good" and the other 50 tell you - "you are bad". Know yourself! Dont fall for either of them. Take your passion to the highest limits and all will fall under your umbrella of success.

Final Thumbrule :
"Not all will be satisfied with you, on your journey to success. Someone somewhere will definitely be dissatisfied with you (could be your best frnd, parents or siblings also)".
"Once you reach pinnacles, everybody will be satisfied with you".

So have patience and don get disheartened by temporary disappointments of others.

Follow your heart - A very misleading jargon! I happened to meet a kid close to 8 years younger to me. We just happened to strike a conversation about how his academics were moving. He seemed to have already lost interest in it. He seems to have got interested things more important to him in his life - "his passions". He seems to have been interested in becoming a software engineer and loved coding stuff for drivers and so on. I ask him why not any other field and how much does he know about rest to conclude this as his passion. The reply is straight forward that he had 70% of knowledge about it and hence he made a decision. I wonder who was the 100% source for his comparision.

Most of the youth today is getting programmed by the media and other similar sources which glamourise follow your heart. But seldom do they add a disclaimer (which also would not have effect) that follow your heart after your heart is capable of judging what is right and what is wrong or atleast is capable of proving that its feeling right. A kid in his adolescence watches a movie, sees the movie picturising the HERO as a person who just followed his heart and was the center of attraction and starts imagining that he is capable of the same.

My only advice, of course being a person who is die hard believer in follow your heart, is that be open to filling in yourself with lot of experience and be enthusiastic about gathering enough information about various subjects and fields and topics before coming to a conclusion about your passions. For your present passions are based on wat you have seen so far, and chances are very less, the sources that you have had access so far, give you the real picture. A large part of youth of our country end up reserved or with closed minds to many things/opportunities because they start following their heart too early and hence a complete ignoring of opinions of others starts happening. (sometimes harmless, but really harmful when the other person is actually a wise individual with some really wise opinions).

Hence understand this jargon "FOLLOW YOUR HEART" with a greater depth. Keep your mind open to data and then decision making is easier. Ultimately follow your heart. But, Let heart get enough assistance from the mind in terms of data also. I hope this was helpful.

General knowledge lovers, this article is also for you. For all others who have always found it tough to increase their GK, but time and again, failed to keep yourself uptodate. The power of this website, though known, is underestimated or let me put it in the right way, it has been "underused". The awareness is not high among people. Youtube.com is a website which is a huge database of videos worldwide under all topics and categories with continous updation. My way of self help these days - (for some people this is something you have always done, for others start doing now).

For any information that one wants one has till today has been using Google.com. But their initiative of youtube.com has been a great vision to reality and now google.com is used to get textual information under topics. But youtube.com today gets you the information on latest stuff or any topic for that matter in exactly the way you want in the video format.

I had to learn guitar and was thinking of going to classes. I just typed - "how to play guitar" on youtube.com and my journey on youtube started ever since. And ever since that day, life has not been the same, until unless I watch a bunch of videos, my bed does not get to see me. How to read faster, How to type faster, Latest hotels in the world, Latest business news, Types of dances, even how to open locks without keys :-):-). Everything has one solution -Youtube.com. Just key in searches on different topics.

5 year plan of India Vs. 5 year plan for indians!!!

I just came across this data, while surfing, that Indian 11th 5 year plan, has a large amount of data, cut, copy and paste from the first one. I really wonder if laying 5 year plans for a country is going to help (it definitely will, but is there a better alternative), for, when I have been for innumerous talks, and when i questioned people as to their plans are the next 5 years, More than 99% of them sit blank.

My dear friends, entire youth fraternity in colleges of this century, is not having a plan of action for themself for the next 5 years, what do we speak about having a 5 year plan for the country. I do not say, 5 year plan for a country should not be there. It does help infrastructure, technology and upliftment of places and people. But, more importantly, my stress is on the fact that, if there is 35% youth (100% of future of our country) population in our country,and if they have a plan of action, with each one deciding plan of action for their studies sector, profession sector, contribution to society sector, charity sector etc. Trust me! its not my intuition alone that speaks at this moment, but logical thought process is also uniting with this thought, that our country will develop much sooner and be much more organised in every sense.

I totally agree, and am not a paranoid who says 5 year exact plan is easy to layout. But lets atleast set it for the next couple of years. We stop planning, because of the no. of failures of our plans we would have gone through during our school days in putting down our time tables and not being able to keep up to it. Lets resolve atleast at this point, that we (the readers of this blog and people who will get to know about this through you as you would promote this to them) shall have a plan of action for different sectors and stick to it, atleast for the next two years.

Majority Youth of india is totally going random. Most youth have this answer when i ask them : "So what are you planning for future?". The answer is :"I am yet to plan". or "I am not sure". Or "let me see". or "I have still not given a thought". My dear friend you are already 20 years old and you have still not given a thought. Kudos to people who have an action plan. But others, its time to open your eyes.

My simplest statement/slogan/quote that would sum up everything -
"If the people of country have a plan for the next 5 years, country is planned for next 5 years". Any other plan is going to be a bonus.

A story about recession.

This Story is about a man who once upon a time was selling "Wada-Pav" by the roadside.

He was illiterate, so he never read newspapers.

He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio.

His eyes were weak, so he never watched television.

But enthusiastically, he sold lots of "Wada-pavs".

He was smart enough to offer some attractive schemes to increase his sales.

His sales and profit went up..

He ordered more a more raw material and buns and use to sale more.

He recruited few more supporting staff to serve more customers.

He started offering home deliveries. Eventually he got himself a bigger and better stove.

As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from College, joined his father.

Then something strange happened.

The son asked, "Dad, aren't you aware of the great recession that is coming our way?"

The father replied, "No, but tell me about it." The son said, "The international situation is terrible.

The domestic situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times."

The man thought that since his son had been to college, read the papers, listened to the radio and watched TV.

He ought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly.

So the next day onwards, the father cut down his raw material order and buns, took down the colorful signboard, removed all the special schemes he was offering to the customers and was no longer as enthusiastic.

He reduced his staff strength by giving layoffs.

Very soon, fewer and fewer people bothered to stop at his "Wada-Pav" stand.

And his sales started coming down rapidly, same is the profit.

The father said to his son, "Son, you were right".

"We are in the middle of a recession and crisis. I am glad you warned me ahead of time."

Moral of The Story: It's all in your MIND! And we actually FUEL this recession much more than we think we do!!!!!!!!!! !!

What can we take away from this story??

1. How many times we confuse intelligence with good judgment?

2. Choose your mentors carefully but use your own judgment

3. A person or an organization will survive forever, if they have the 5 Cs-

* CHARACTER

* COMMITMENT

* CONVICTION

* COURTESY

* COURAGE

The tragedy today is that there are many walking encyclopedias that are living failures.

The more practical and appropriate views on this economic recession is:

"This is the time to reunite together for any small or a big organization,

This is the time to motivate and retain people which are the biggest asset,

This is the time to show more commitments to the customers,

This is the time show values of our company to the world,

And this is the time to stand by our Nation".

My network has stood by this, and i am proud that in the so called
phase of my org. where most ppl were supposedly giving up. My network has
shown a very high sustainance rate. Kudos to my entire team of leaders.

I am tired of hearing this from people - "I dont have enough freedom to do things that i want". My dear friends/readers who are victims of this situation in your life, please do look back and be honest to yourself, and see if you could work out ways to do what you want, in the freedom you already have. Its not that we do not have freedom, its that we have not been able to gather enough motivation to do something, and hence our visions which we spoke about, never turned into reality, hence we are unable to bear the burden of unaccomplishment on ourself and hence blame circumstances around us.

Lets take it my dear friend and accept, that if we wanted we could have done it, in the freedom that we get. Its not the boundations of the world that we suffer from, its the boundations on our mind, which kill our freedom. The solution, for this, or the key to this lock, is in our hands, until we release it, it will never get released. Thats why India is'nt moving forward. Every individual in some way or the other is not releasing his best and binding himself, with the thought of lack of freedom.

As far as women in our country are concerned, this is highly prominent, amongst the girls of middle class families, where girls have developed this notion, that they do not have freedom to move out or mingle with people, or spend as much as they want on things they want, hence they cannot make it big in life. Trust me, there are enough opportunities around, for all types of constraints, to make it big in life. Just that our quest is not enough. I met a lady, a couple of days ago, it was an experience with this person, where i realised the deadlock our indian youth fraternity is going through.

My question : " do you know there 6.5 million indian literates, and 3.5 million illiterate? even if 2 teach 1, we can be completely literate nation in a matter of a day or two. what have you done for the country so far?"
Answer from her: " I totally understand that, and i have always wanted to do, but my society and relatives at home and situations at home do not permit me enough, that i would be able to do something like this"
My reply: "Why do you think so?"
Her answer: "I dont have enough freedom."
My reply: " what have you done in the freedom you get?"
Her answer: ""
My reply: " thats where we need a correction "
her answer: " but how?"
my reply: "you were allowed to meet me for an hour right?"
her reply: "yes"
My reply: "your parents would scold you, if you said, i am going to the orphanage in the vicinity of our home, to teach two kids english for today, for just an hour, and i will be back on time? Your parents would have told you that you have become a sinner? right?"
her reply: " < i understood expression > "I understood sir" "
my reply: "lets move on"

Trust me its not constraints from people around us, that binds us, its the locks that we put on our actions that stops us from making it big - These locks are : "laziness", "purposelessness", "boredom","passionlessness" etc...

My dear fellow indians, lets break the barriers of these locks that we have put on ourselves and actually move out and start doing something, rather than complain of all the things we are unable to do. I am sure we will together build a great india for our forthcoming generations.

My Birthday

My Birthday, is special to me(as it is for any of us). I am born on the day, when the love quotient(LQ) of the world is highest, at its peaks. It is special to me, for it reminds me, that i need to stand for LOVE, and spread love until i live, for I am born on the day, where the world expresses love - Valentines Day - The 14th of Feb.

I started my ebiz career, just the way all ebiz associates do, by giving my draft to ebiz house, ignorant of the fact, that the product wont just be online computer education. But a birthday just after 3.5 years of ebiz, that will be memorable even beyond next 35 years!!!

There are'nt enough words in the dictionary or probably i do not know enough, to describe the day. I just feel it was'nt a day but a cluster of them. The state of feelings was highly mixed. I went through all kinds of emotions.

On demand from many leaders of mine, to describe how exactly i spent my day, I decided to put it down in brief.

It started with a surprise, from my leaders, Dhavalshah ji, Nahar Bros., & Nikhil hulamani ji who came down to my place, with a cake. It was probably the 4th time in my life, i was cutting a cake on my birthday. (out of 22 of them that had goneby). It was my family, and my ebiz family with whom i started my day at 12 am. I was gifted a goggle cum ipod cum pen drive (3in1) gadget from my brother, along with a shirt from my bhabhijis parents, and couple more gifts. People say they love to get gifted, So do I. And when gifts are so sophisticated, it just adds to the joy of getting gifted. I did miss adarsh jis presence and rest of my team.

Number of calls from my fans, my associates & my relatives started pouring in at 12 am. Since they were so many in number, and i could not take all of them, for i was the one cutting the cake and answering the calls. The best testimony for the number of people trying to reach was that - the software of the phone could not match up with the no. of callers. It displays some name and somebody else answers the call.:-) Loads and loads of messages sarted pouring in. I just realised, I had a great fan following.

The ebiz leaders left home at around 1, then i occupied myself with sleep from 2am to 8 am. I then, woke up to see 140+ missed calls between 2am to 8am, after which I left for a party, being thrown for me, which was to be an emotionally touching celebration, at ebiz home. I reached Dr.Surendraji's home - the ebiz home at bangalore - as he calls it. There were all my leaders from his network. It was a great time there. We cut cake (the 5th one in my life). We had a great time. I shared Part-I of my life, with my team - my life and my attitudes before ebiz. We just got closer. Our bonds strengthed. Somebody tells me ebiz cannot move on for lifetime - i just proudly tell him - god cannot break the bonds we build - for he is the one helping us build:-) its the bond of love and understanding.

After the celebration, when i was about to leave for my next place of visit. I was gifted few of my best snaps, which were to be framed. These were posterised. This was the most touching moment at the meet. For, i just felt the love of my team. I moved from there with Manoj ji for camp visits.

I was lucky as only a few people are, to have free computer awareness camps, held on my birthday, a noble work being accomplished on the day i came into the world 22 years ago. The best part is - I was a part of the reason behind this. But all credits to my entire team for being super enthusiastic and a bunch of true fighters for making this vision a reality and helping me strongly believe that this will go on for a lifetime. I visited four camps. Meanwhile, Vikas bohra ji and basanti ji arranged for a cake(6th one). Amidst all this, I was worried about reaching home by 4pm to make it to the movie at 5:45 pm as informed by sumitji.

There was a very big surprise inbetween planned by navneeta ji, sonal ji & Sruthi ji(my closest school friend) I was supposed to reach for a meet with sonal ji's to be closest person of life(which was not the truth), and i ended up meeting Sruthi ji (who wasnt expected in bangalore for another couple of months). It was my birthday, after a long time, when we could celebrate together. We had another CCC (cake cutting ceremony) at her place. Then in a hurry i left from there, i reached home just to discover that time was already 5:45 pm. I was all prepared to convince myself and everybody that the movie would not have a great story in the first half, and only the second half would be more interesting.

But we just discoverd that the show was at 6:45 pm - courtesy - sumit ji's planned surprise, so that we are on time. Billu barber is a good movie, with a mild story of a friendship between two friends, one of whom reaches the highest heights of popularity and the other scales on the negative side. It also has a touch which projects lifestyle of a star (little exaggerated though). After this we were present at the spot where my cousin's marriage's preparations were on. We reached home around 12:15 am just to discover the biggest surprise for the day and for a lifetime.

A huge 5ft. by 4ft. cardboard wrapped with color papers. I was holding and posing for pics, just to discover that there were three of them, in my house to record me do all this and catch my expressions of surprise, when i discover the ppl who presented this gift to me, were at my house then. I opened the gift to discover a testimony for patience, LOVE, realtionship, gift, and true feelings. It was a collage of the best collection of pics of my entire ebiz journey. Thanks to everybody who have put in efforts behind this. You do not know, you guys have given me a memory, for my lifetime. You have taken a place in my life - which is uneraseable. Thanks to Vikas Bohra ji for all his hard work of collecting, arrangin the pics on the collage. Adithya kothari ji, dhaval shah ji and their team who are responsible for the same - I thank you all.

All in all, the day started with a surprise, ended with a surprise and had lots of surprises throughout the day. Trust me, I feel the power of Network today. I know we will own much bigger networks tomorrow, The reasons just keep getting stronger.

The day all in all - was a combination of - celebrations, camps(social work), Emotional moments, movie(family time), Time with cousins, surprise visit to blore by sruthi(quality time with close friends), Gifting by sumit ji and my family, blessings from family, promotions, calls, resolutions, remembering god and showing of gratitude to him, and the MEGA GIFT. All in all - Highly versatile day. I was wondering if i had enjoyed more than a week on the same day. God extended time for me:-)

Dear Reader, My sincere wishes that everyday of your life, would be as my 22nd birthday was. There were innumerous moments, which i could not list down here. But trust me I could ask for more:-):-) I just know that next birthday shall be much more amazing for sure.:-):-)

My last blog before i turn 22

According to all indian clocks and IST i would turn 22 in another 40 mins from now. It feels good to know you are growing up, but hard to accept that you have left past one more number behind you. Most people dont achieve big in life, because they have this fear of failure which haunts them whenever they begin their journey of success in any direction, hence they pull their steps back in any direction they would have proceeded in.

Whatever I have achieved till date, is due to fear of not achieving enough, that haunts me, before i turn 27 (why 27, a few folks know this). I always push myself hard. Today i once again realise i am just 5 years away from that number. I commit to myself in this blog openly, that i shall make a grand success for myself in the next 5 years, and help innumerous people succeed as well. I should have become a testimony for youth icons. For people who are passionate about whatever they take up. I should have been a solid reason for computer literacy hike in our country. I should have a team which should boast off the best achievements in their kitty throughout the country. We should have travelled lakshadweep on star cruises, Mission benchmark should have turned reality.

I should have travelled countrywide for inspiraitonal talks. Authored atleast two books. I should have helped enough people lose fear of failure and embark confidently on their journey to success. I should have all in all spread smiles to lakhs of people and touched million hearts and created enough patriots. I should also have become a reason for a large no. of fighters in the country.

In the next half an hour of my year 21 i commit to year 22 that i shall make it more glorious and carry forward the legacy of passion, determination and imagination to the next level. I commit to 21 that 22 would just shoot up growth in every aspect of life.

Everything has a Reason!

God does not play dice, was one of the most amazing statements i had read or came across till date. It always amused me, and kept me wondering, what makes god such a perfectionist. Every thing that happens has a reason. Everything that happens, is under the control of the frequency of our thoughts we generate (As law of attraction says - and as i believe).

Life just looks to be a great curve if traced back, with lots of dots just connected together. No point is left alone. The origin is birth, the end point is death. In between is tremendous web of curves, where dots are joined together. All events therefore have a preceding event and a succeeding event. But when curves intersect, there are multiple routes in which they lead and from which they would have come till there. It is also right to believe, every dot is an intersection of innumerous such curves. Hence, every event is multifactorial in life.

But the fact is after the present dot, at any given point of time, only one direction can be chosen, but other curves that intersect at that point, are the just the continuing extrpolated projections of the other lines, which become prominent at some point in future, and they actually matter at the intersection later.

All i want to convey through this cluster of dots, is, everything has a reason. God just does not play dice. Hence appreciate all things, events, people and circumstances in life, for god has just brought them down to us, for, we asked for them. Appreciate everything, love everything and everything will start seeming to be all the more beautiful. Life will just start materialising the way you exactly want it to. Everything that seemed obscure, will have crystal clear reasons behind it.

Giving up, can help you discover your passion sometimes!!!

We all have gone through this feeling of disinterest in something and it is when we decided to give up the possession of that thing. This is normal to do so. But when this gets applied to our dreams and careers, it yields results which get us more pain and disgust, rather than the joy of having reduced, the burden of upholding of a priority, which we were no more interested in. This often happens.

This happens when we are unable to make out that slight difference, between the disinterest that comes due to inability of doing something and fear of defeat in a field, and the disinterest that comes otherwise, for the mismatch of the thing we get disinterested in, with our attitudes. The former brings along the pain, which makes us just realise how much we were passionate about the thing we were just going to give up.

Some people call it an advantage to realise their true passions. Yes, indeed! but not by fully giving up and leaving no chance for re-entry at all! Mere thought of giving up something thats our passion, will bring in a real jostling between feelings inside us. Its at that moment you just need to remind yourself, refocus, repriotize and reorient towards goals and dreams and just move on not caring, whether you are enjoying it or not. You will soon see yourself as a rockstar.

I just realised this when i was about to say "henceforth, no orkutting" :-) Immediately, the thought made me run through all the feelings, where i had just loved being there for all the advantages it offered, and all of a sudden there was this feeling which pulled me back strongly! there could not have been a simpler application of the above theory!

It also applies when we are continously focussed on a target and after longtime when we have not gathered enough results, we just feel like giving up, (sometimes we just give up) and this feeling comes to our rescue. Its after this we need to understand, that we need to stick to this dream until it gets accomplished, for we have just discoverd our passion. For, those who giveup, seldom realise that they were really close to success when they give up. For, once you are beyond that feeling of giving up, is when you start living for and with your passion. Then you start RULING!!!

So, Discover your passion! and DONT GIVE UP!

I welcome myself to blogspot.com. I always had this desire to share my views with the world in the way i wanted to without the heartaches of being interrupted or having the idea rejected without it even being heard. I knew blog was the space where one could express himself and world could know him better. One could share his views/opinions/learnings/experiences with utmost convenience. It also puts a slight reader pressure - which makes you slightly conscious and infact pushes you to articulate and write well to ensure you have your readers come to your blog over and over again. That does not mean you write what readers want to read. But it just means, You write in a way that readers would love to read.

I am sure I will build a great database on this space at blogspot.com which shall be a great source of learnings for people. At the same time a piece of compilation - which would give me great moments of pleasurable feeling of the flashback each time i go through it, after a few years from now. Lets begin.!!!
